Eats, dear. Imagine how Mrs. Eats feels...she's probably ready to induce RIGHT NOW! (after a while, you just want your body back!)
I myself was late, as was my daughter, although we didn't know it. I think doctors should overproject due dates by two weeks, and then everyone would be early....

Thanks for the thoughts people. It's greatly appreciated. Tomorrow we find out what day they want to induce on. Note...that's which day THEY want to induce on, not the mum and baby. We hope to let them check over Mrs Eats, and if all is still well, let us wait a few more days for a "natural" labour to start. We'll see.
In the meantime, thanks again.

Speaking of labor, in the greatest of coincidences my mother was in labor with me on the great American holiday Labor Day, and as I popped out - well was chopped out really, in the end - it also happened to be my parents' first wedding anniversary.
