Hmmm... Blonde, 'eh? Well, I think I said blonde and bookish, and you say she's out going.
But maybe I was getting crossed vibes betweeen your rommie and your RA?

Glad you loke your roommate sea. I got stuck with a girl who had an affinity for pastel coulours, Winnie the pooh posters on the wall and more than is nessecerry cuddly toys on the bed. I seem to remember she put her pijams in a frilly heart shaped holder too.
No, she wasn't being ironic.
Since I was going through a black phase at the time, the only thing that stopped us killing each other was her speedy acquisition of (quite possibly the slimiest) boyfriend ever, which kept her out of my hair.
I was management until 3 months ago. Its quite true what they say...

Have fun meeting people B17. Raise a glass or two for me while you're there as I'll be here in London thinking about you all up there avoiding tourists... Tell me, is that particular scene in trainspotting true
Today I get the joy of being told all about the particular bit of the company I'm in by manglement. Oh how I'm looking forward to the induction At least I get lunch.

[Munchkin, having to read about another Scottish meet up he can't go to. We should try for another Nodnol one at some point a la the British English Thread one from a couple of months back. Then again, only have to wait three months for the Official Christmas one.]

The only scene I remember from Trainspotting had something to do with toilet .
/* Zeppo, thrilled with both the frisbee and the bow, begins chewing the bow and uses it to swing the frisbee back and forth rapidly, hitting several knees in the process */

She must still be digging out from under all her stuff from Florida. Hope she is back soon, though.
Glad things are working out well for you, sea. Don't forget your OLD friends, though

Morning all!
Sea, I am so happy for you! Everything sounds grand - especially the RA. When do classes start? Are you going to have time to get settled in first, or is it right off to orientation for you?
Arl, you are psychic! Blond and bookish, just not in the same person.
Lil, I hope that you are digging your way out as I type. After all, I'll be doing the same after Saturday and need to know that I'll be able to make it through.
Zeppo, I'm so glad you like your . Would you like me to throw the frisbee for you? Or are you having more fun playing with it that way?
*long knowing the ways of and frisbees, pulls her legs up under her as she sits on a sofa and holds a pillow in front of her knees*
Matina, some please before I'm forced to get some exercise by the overenthusiastc . Thank you.

I just biked from one end of campus to the other and back. Which means I went up and down one REALLY big hill twice . And it doesn't help that I'm neither in shape, nor acclimated to this altitude yet . Matina, a very large glass of H2O, please.

Water is very good for helping with altitude sickness. Which reminds me, anyone coming to Denver in March from altitudes lower than about 4000 ft would probably do well to plan on drinking alot of the old H2O while you're here.
Sounds like a lovely campus, Arl. If I were to write you at the e-mail address you so brazenly posted earlier, would you be willing to tell me where you are? I have my suspicions, but would like to have them confirmed or denied.

If you guess correctly, I will tell you that you have done so. If you guess incorrectly I will tell you you are wrong, but I won't tell you where I am
It's very possible that you know.
