Sea, Please give your congrats on his Court Of Honor (US spelling in this one case) from this Arrowman. Scouting was one of the greatest things to happen to me once upon a time.

Unfortunately, even those of us who got through Highschool without studying have to study in college in order to keep on top of things.

What about us who got through HS by not studying and then studying very hard for a few months to graduate on time. Then drop out of College because SLCC sucks?

I, too, got through high school without much studying, but had to study lots in university. There's still time to have a life away from the books, though.

3 days a week?!? Wow, that's great. I never had such a good schedule as that.

I always meant to study, but I'd say that in my whole high school and college carrer, I studied for about four hours. Three of those hours were in my junior year, for a chemestry regents.
I am your classic under acheiver.

That is why you keep a brick handy. A brick upside the head is a good snooze button.

I ~always~ had 2 or 3 8 AM classes per semester! It was so hard to stay awake.
And I was not a little shocked with the amount of studying I had to do in college. I nearly didn't make it.

C'mere, Ludwig.
* the and gives both Ludwig and Zeppo bones*
Sea, you'll do just fine. Studying will be very important, though. If you want, I'd be happy to help - even if it is only on-line help - and I'm sure that others here would do the same.
And what a schedule! I would have killed for that schedule. I proably would have gotten my pre-Law with that schedule. Maybe its a good thing I didn't have that schedule.

My new schedual isn't so great. It was going to be two classes on Mondays and Fridays, starting around 10:30 and ending by 2, one class on Tuesdays and Thursdays that started later and ended about the same time, and then on Wednesday I'd have my Monday Friday schedual, plus one evening class that got out around 6. But one of my Mond Wed Fris got canceled, and the only available replacement was taught on Weds from 7:30p to 10p! I HATE NIGHT CLASSES!

Brrrr... I remember when I studied to become an executive(?) secretary - I didn't manage to get into university - none of my first choices anyway - so I thought that a one-year-long secretarial course would'nt be too bad - I would have a complete professional education, and I got to spend 4 months abroad!
But trying to cram all the knowledge required into a 9 months long education involved some serious studying...
...I remember the Christmas holidays... teacher after teacher gave us homework to be completed before the school started in January again...
We tried to calculate the average homework needed per day, including Christmas and New Year's Eve - and discovered that we had to do, per day:
- 3 lessons of shorthand in Swedish
- 1 lesson of shorthand in English
- 1 lesson of shorthand in German
...and then prepare to give a lecture in English...
...and write a tourist brochure in German about Andorra (why Andorra? Well, because our German teacher knew there wasn't any information available in German at that time, so we couldn't 'copy and paste')...
Key: Complain about this post
