Sea, have you un-packed yet? Sounds like you're going to thrive.
My boss is getting married today, and somehow I've got the responsability to get flowers and a gift and get keys for the party-rooms, and whatnot. Thrilled is not the word I would use here... There is nothing of this kind in my job description!
Let's hope I get my reward in my next life...

We could always have a housewarming for Lil when she emerges for sorting through all the stuff from Florida.
Once again the sun is shining and there were no clouds in the sky as I walking from the tube station to work. You can tell it's an english summer, the football (soccer) has started again and we're being beat by the aussies at cricket
I wonder how B17's hangover is this fine morning

Munchkin Posted Aug 24, 2001
[Munchkin, off to the world's largest maritime festival tomorrow, for to look at boats, and to try and not get pressganged ]
I highly recommend studying at uni. Mostly alcohol in my case, but I still seemed to learn useful stuff.

No time to stay, sorry, just done some quick lurking between meetings, and I felt I had to let you know that IRVING WASHINGTON HAS RETURNED! In the Aroma Café!

Blimey! Hope Irv's doing well and that he doesn't find the changes too much.
Munchkin, so which festival is that then?

sea, you've probably heard this all before, but watch out for
- the freshman 15
- flunking out your first semester
- seniors without shirts

Portsmouth International Festival of the Sea. Apparently I will get to prat about on some RN ships and coo at some golden oldies. Don't know much about it rightly, it all got arranged while I was galivanting over the sea.
Can't say I ever saw any seniors without shirts at my uni, but considering who I lived with, and the average weather conditions, this is no bad thing.

I think they're planning a twenty-one gun salute and a fly past and everything for her

!!!!! obviously. For those of you not up on the Ayrshire dialect girnning is something you do when you cry (scrunch your face up), which I was certainly not about to do.
