I'm not going to give you a long excuse this week about why The Post isn't up to the highest standard. I think we've all had enough of that. Instead, I'm going to offer you a slightly more proactive development: as of the 28 February edition, I'm going to be stepping down as Editor of The Post. It's been an interesting, educational and alternately enjoyable and stressful couple of years... but we'll get into all that in my resignation editorial in a month. I promise you it will be epic. I'm already planning it. So. Developments in the Beeblecasting and AViating departments are flying thick and fast — I'm sure Skankyrich could use your creative innovation, especially since I promised I would help and then things started coming up, as they seem to do fairly frequently in my life. So contact him and see what you can do! You also might want to check up on the new announcement the Italics released yesterday, about the ability to bookmark entries, and someone should really explain to me why there's some box about 'maps' in the edit-an-entry interface. I think I missed something. I might also remind you that The Post's next issue falls on Valentine's Day, so if you'd like to submit your love notes or submissions on similar themes for the next Post, you know the address.
