I'm still around! I also have a seven year old army-general, as well as a four year old princess (according to her, work is for the under-classes) and finally two two-year old home destroyers (F1997?thread=2531337).

Ah but I love 'em!

Mine are now 6 1/2, 5 three weeks ago, 3 tomorrow and 5 months tomorrow. They're all home educated so I have them with me all the time, which is fairly intense sometimes but great fun. Luckily even Emily sleeps fairly well at night.

I came across Cloviscat on another forum yesterday, just about to have another baby.

Mine are just turned 15, and about to turn 13. And quite honestly I'm finding this period of their childhood/ transition to adulthood way more difficult than any stage when they were younger!

We're about to head off for a week's holiday together, and I dread the possibility that we'll probabaly drive each other mad being in each others company all day everyday. Hopefully some horseriding, hillwalking and swimming will work off those excess horrormones.

*Trots busily about the place, whisking off the dust covers, prodding the industrial WI tea urn into protesting life, picking up a few leathal lego bricks perfectly positioned to get underfoot at the wrong moment, and adding more batteries to all those toys which will drive everyone nuts with their bright! happy! tunes! after the first few days.*

Solnushka here. Can't believe it took me 10 months to consider there might be a parenting cofee morning going on on hootoo.

One son, the Star, currently 10 plus months and ten kg.

I'll tell you what I find odd, and that's not being the person with the youngest baby at things any more. They grow up so fast...

Look at the cute under three monthers! Ochie coochie coo!

kelli - ran 2 miles a day for 2012, aiming for the same for 2013

Kelli here, got one monster toddler (t'Boy) who is making the most of his terrible twos and one 4 month old baby (t'Other) who is cute but huuuuuungry. Between t'Boy's early-rising habits (and here I seriously question how two night-owls can breed a lark) and t'Other's frequent feeding I get about 4-5 hours of (broken) sleep a day. smiley - yawn

I was the first of my NCT group to have #2, but since he turned up there have been four other babies and two more on the way - all but one of the group now either a mum of two or knocked up and about to be a mum of 2. I can't believe how big and grown up t'Other looks compared to the 2 week old one.

*secretly removes about half of the new batteries Sol replaced*

Hello to those that are left, I'm currently 13 weeks gone. Out of the morning sickness phase (thankfully) and just had my first scan to confirm that it is real, there is something in there and it has a beating heart and limbs and such. No wings though.

I thought that is what you meant when you said you could still have virtual smiley - bubbly Congratulations! Right, immediately book a holiday for weeks 25-27 as you can't fly after that (easily, or cheaply), go out to dinner, in proper restaurants *every* week, go to the cinema, and go swimming. Have a lie-in every single non-work day, and drink hot drinks. Enjoy doing all these things, you'll miss them for a while smiley - smiley

My two are now 4, and 2 and a half. Now both monsters, and frequently driving me to tears and the very outer edge of my sanity. I'd still have another if J would agree, but on most days I would be very hard pressed to explain what, in my current day-to-day life I need *more* of (other than sleep and time to myself, neither of which are facilitated by the presence of a new baby). Eldest starts school in september and youngest has just pttoy trained. My babies are growing up!

M<y, where has the time gone? Mine are now nearing 23 and 20!

Vip, it's all good advice Kelli gives there.
And once the baby is there, make sure there is somebody (parents, inlaws, brother/sister etc) who will do some babysitting once in a while. You'll need the time.

Wow, has it really been a year? smiley - cupid has now arrived and is already 5 months old. I'm tired but mostly happy; I think Z'im got lucky in the baby stakes (although the egress ion fro sleeping through waking twice in a night is difficult).

I'll have to invite Dr Anthea and Minichessemouse over here too. smiley - smiley

Oh hello, as i'm sure you know I am Mouse. The mouseling is approximately half baked 19weeks and 3 days and i get to hopefully find out if it's a boy or a girl in there next week smiley - wow

I probably won't be around terribly much as we are in the process of moving to Kilmarnock and are unlikely to have proper internet for a few weeks after moving in. Still, there is the iPhone . . .

Estimated arrival date for bump is December 4th.
