Sun cream

Post 1

Bernadette Lynn_ Home Educator

Last week we used sun cream on some of the children for the first time this year and two of them had an allergic reaction to it.

I didn't put any on Charlotte because I already knew she was allergic to creams, but Isobel had seemed ok after I tested her on one forearm a few days ago and David has never had a reaction to anything before.

Does anyone know of any good non-allergenic suncreams?

kelli - ran 2 miles a day for 2012, aiming for the same for 2013

I'm also looking for one as nivea 50+ seems to trigger t'Boy's eczema. Gutted about this, as to me nivea smells like holidays. Will let you know if I find one smiley - ok

I'm using Ambre Solaire kids 50+ moisturising milk, which claims to be hypoallergenic, and hasn't triggered the Star's dry skin/ eczma off. I've been using it for a while now too.

All sun tan cream smells like beaches to me. Most bizarre when we're trotting around the city.
