smiley - cupid Is nearly 16 months now, running around and being very, very cute. We have no words but he's definitely comprehending most of what we say. He just needs to get the muscles to do what he wants them to do and then he'll be there!

Eating has been one of the fun parts and he adores his food. I occasionally get fed up of having to cook proper food all the time but given it's better for me as well as him I shouldn't complain. smiley - winkeye

Homeschooling is brilliant - we've been educating our four at home for 8 years and love it.

There might be a homeschooling group near you which has lots of babies and toddlers, it can help to make contacts early on and then if you do decide to go down that road later on you have friends and a support group right there.

Amy Pawloski, aka 'paper lady'--'Mufflewhump'?!? click here to find out... (ACE)

Notepad, at 4, is nowhere near as compliant a child as PaperKid was 5 years ago! While it's good to have a child that doesn't completely fall apart when told "No" or *thinks* she's in trouble (we used to argue about whether she was in trouble or not, which usually led to her being in trouble for arguing with me telling her she wasn't in troublesmiley - headhurts), something in between would be nice...

We have a crawler. It's amazing how one minute they can't do something, then 5 minutes later they suddenly can!

Three days ago he couldn't crawl at all, now he is getting some speed on him. U don't sew it being long until he is cruising round the furniture.

This is the sort of conversation which reminds me I've been using this site for _far_ too long...

I first posted here back in 2002 - waxing lyrical about my toddler...

That toddler is now a 15 year old adolescent working towards his black belt in karate!

smiley - headhurts

I'm getting old!

Charlie is now taking tentitive steps,
he can walk all the way across the room but only when no-one is looking smiley - laugh
if he notices you watching it goes back to crawling as he tries to hide all the evidence

Other than a really frustrating false start yesterday evening, no news. I don't want to play this game any more! Phoned the midwife this morning and they won't do anything until I'm a week or more past my due date, and they won't induce me until I'm 12 days over

Wow, it's amazing what rules different areas take. They booked me in to be induced at +10. I'd've done it differently had I known what I know now but my hospital are very induction-happy compared to yours...

Any news? (Don't you soon come to hate it when everyone begins every conversation with that question...smiley - winkeye)

It was 2 weeks for inductions where we are when my daughter was born...
