Meg the madwife
Hi,
My name is meg and I am a nurse and Independent Midwife in the UK. Independent midwives work for women outside of the NHS. We provide total midwifery care in the safety and comfort of a woman's home. For more information or to find a midwife near you see www.independentmidwives.co.uk.

I have two children Maggot aged 12 and Trouble aged 9, three cats and three hamsters. I have recently married my Partner of the last 13 years who I refer to as Beloved.
My loves include, camping, live music and festivals, drinking, smoking and the company of good friends. I enjoy art in many forms including Salvador Dali, classical music and Ballet.
Best Films of all time would include The Wizard of OZ, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and To kill a Mocking Bird.
I used to read science-fiction/fantasy books, but for now I have to live in the real world. I hate crowds, but love people. Humour helps me cope with real life and the world is a much sadder place without Spike Milligan, Johnny Cash and John Peel.
I speak what I understand to be the truth and would never hurt a living creature willingly.
I speak from the heart so don't always process it through my head before typing, but would hate to offend.
I only have acess to the computer when I'm at work on Monday night so expect a few days delay in me replying.
