A Conversation for Tequila Slammers

Tequila - it makes me happy!

Ok, as we all know Tequila is the national drink of Mexico!
Anyway, they say that the real bottles of Tequila you can get
in Mexico contain some type of worm that lives at the bottom
of the bottle. When you finally finish off the bottle, the person who
gets to eat the worm will get absolutely off their head drunk (!) as the
worm soaks up Tequila constantly and has a major volume of alcohol in itself!
Just thought you all would like to know ! Personally, I just drink off the shot of
Tequila without any salt or whatever.....Byeeeeeee ! smiley - smiley

Just a thought, how does the worm live in the bottom? I mean I've got enough problems walking out of my flat and round the corner to do the shopping (I an sooooo lazy) so how does the worm do it?
Where does he sleep, I've never seen a bed. Maybe the land lord pops one in come closing time 'cos I doubt he can sleep with all that racket going on.
Then again maybe he's dead 'cos the animal rights actavists would have a field day if an alive worm was cruely eaten after his home was drunk away!

The worm is actually the Mezcal worm which lives in the agave cactus from which tequila is brewed. However the little chap is dead by the time you get to eat it. They're not actually that bad (I've done two). Its a bit like eating a deflated WaterBomb balloon with tequila in it. When you bite it, it bursts and fills you mouth with tequila (And presumably, worm innards.Yum)
Sorry about spoiling a potential conversation about the residental habits of the maezcal tequila worm.
