[Protoman steals the camera and deletes it, since not doing so is allowing Titania to sort-of come to harm. And yes, I know that she technically isn't a human, but it's the principle of the thing.]

Did you have to delete the whole camera? That's the second one in a month.

Hmmmmm. An Ancient Brit causing the vortex....just could be. More likely to be a modern Brit, though. Specifically, Britney.
I like the anchor idea too, but now that we're here, I can't help but want to check this place out.
*Notices Zeppo digging.*
Good idea, Zeppo. I'm going to try digging right in the centre.
*Changes to wolf form and digs in the sand at the centre of the circle.*

Britney? As in Britney Spears?

*has been regarding the walls of water surrounding them with some concern, chewing her lip*
Eh - guys... - is it just imagination, or are those walls closing in on us?

[Protoman] It's probably not just you. In fact, it's probably inevitable.

Not just me? *relieved*
Inevitable?*takes a few steps back towards the sub*
I think we should leave now... ahem... I said *I think we should leave now!*

The walls closing in could solve our problem. We just wait long enough and eventually the sub is in the water again. Of course we would want to be in the sub when that happens, but I think we have few minutes to see if GL and Zeppo have dug up anything other than old Yoo-hoo bottles.

Um, Affy, you did say the picnic location was at Butterfly Bay, didn't you? I mean, a yoo-hoo bottle and a spork, it kind of seems like that maybe someone kind of happened to have a picnic here?

*Affy checks his geographic locator (on the watch) to make sure that it isn't Butterfly Bay. The Geographic Locator program isn't functioning correctly for some reason, however*
Um, Garius....did I manually type in the coordinates, or did I just tell the computer "Malevolant Maelstrom"?

*Changes to human form to answer Affy's question.*
Uh, I think you typed in the coordinates. From memory.
*Looks with disgust at his fingernails.*
There certainly are drawbacks to this form changing.
*Changes back to wolf form and continues digging. Strikes something large and metalic.*

*Affy looks in, interested*
Yeah, what is it? Something like that most likely wouldn't be in Butterfly Bay, so I'm somewhat reassured. Although, still not entirely....
*Squints his eyes to get a better view*
