I thought the slide went to the submarine. I vote for that.

[Protoman] Whatever.
[Roll] Can we just teleport?
Gear Replacement
Afgncaap5 Posted May 12, 2002
Of course not, Roll. That'd be much, much too easy. That plus we're in one of the Security Level 4 areas of CLI, only the inaccesible back rooms have more security. The only teleportation that can be done down here that works for more than a few feet are the times when you use pre-set up teleportation gates, like the Catwalk-In-Space that we went through earlier. We'd get to the slide (that leads to the submarine) a lot sooner than any teleportation gates. Although you know, GL, we should probably start installing a few more teleportation gates down here in the future.

Yeah, I guess we should, Affy. I mean, that gear could REALLY break sometime.
I think the shortest way to the slide might be through the heating vents, but you never know with a maze, do you?
Gear Replacement
Afgncaap5 Posted May 12, 2002
Well, we never really mapped that maze entirely, so it could conceivably lead anywhere.
*Looks right at the entrance to this room*
We could just walk out the door, but the thought of the maze is very intriguing....

Well, I was thinking that since the slide is back at the end of the mine tunnel (ooc - I trolled through alot of backlog to find it), and since there are ventilation ducts in the mine, that perhaps these ducts might connect to those ducts and form a short cut. Bit of a long shot, I suppose.
*Eyes the clay pigeon that Affy is still carrying.*
Anyone in a big hurry to get back?

*digs in her backpack and comes up with more mbougatses and a thermos of tea*
Nope.

[Protoman] I don't eat, and neither does Roll.
[Roll] Oh don't be so rude! Here, I'll have some!

Afgncaap5 Posted May 13, 2002
So, I guess it's the maze? Great!
*Notes that the lock on his Snowzar has come off by now*

[Protoman] [noticing also] Looks like you didn't get to use it.

Afgncaap5 Posted May 14, 2002
Nope! I believe in the Rube Goldberg principle, after all.

Afgncaap5 Posted May 15, 2002
You know. Complex solutions to simple problems, and all that.

*Looks over at Protoman, expecting to see one of those neon signs in midair, flashing "whatever". Doesn't see one. Assumes Protoman must have meant something else when he said he was standing by his "whatever".*
Ah, Lil! Just what I needed.
*Gratefully accepts a Mbougatse and some <tea?*
