Okay, let's start deciding who gets what part. I want to be Death and Mauve Weasel Number 3. Can I have those parts? Please? Please?

NO! *I* wanna be mauve weasel number 3! You can be mauve weasel 59A.
Oh, alright, since you paid your fine I'll let you be #3.
I think the person who introduced each character should get first choice over whether they get to be that character. Which I think means I could be Douglas Adams, the snake's lawyer or a cerulean porpoise.

so if we are referring to the original story then we each have like fifteen parts (ME: sassy robots (all of em), that different version of arnold that had a spade for a tail, a phony scientist, santa when he is Mrs.Fussypotz, umm, jeesh there is a lot of junk here. Perhaps we should stop speaking of a movies that won't be made. Doesn't mean we can't steal money from the budget though

That would also mean I'd get to play the stranger in that box.. and I don't think I'd look very good as him.

OOoooopps sorry, for doing this..
I don't really remeber which character I introduced or if I did introduce some at all... Who's the dutch Royal family BTW? (I can be them, if noone else have any spesific wish do to so)

I'm not sure who I've introduced. Several bit characters who only had one scene, like Erik Evari, etc. Okay, I think we all know what this means.
*Pulls out pick-axe and one of those hard hats with lights on them*
We have to go back to . . . the first chapter.

Hey, maybe we could put together a cast list as part of the guide entry - not necessarily a complete one if we're afraid to load chapter 1, but if we can each remember the people we introduced the cast list could be grouped by researcher. Of course it would be growing all the time so maybe it would be better to just have it in a forum, or not at all.

Hm...
I'm not really sure... you see, I don't think everybody DID introduce a character... I don't think I did, exept a few small ones, simply because if everybody introduced a few characters, it would be way too many of them...
anyway, why don't we just start a movie, and everybody who wants a part, has to invent their own character(s)? That would be more fair, wouldn't it?

Wait, but isn't making a movie in a forum the exact same as making a new story. I mean maybe we could do it in script format but that could get tiring. Personally I still don't get what we want to do, I mean make a movie? This is text I am looking at isn't it.

Small characters count!
And there *are* too many of them. That's what makes it fun!
I think if we did a movie (and I don't think it's likely) then people who created a character could have the first choice of playing that part, but if they didn't want to they could give the part to someone else - or even swap it for another part. Hmm... parts trading - sounds sort of illegal. The next thing you know we'll have people stealing other researchers' kidneys. Or livers.

Oh, goody. Let's bring that morbid subject back from the grave.
Seriously, though, I agree about just letting the people who introduce them have the first dibs on that character. That means that I get first dibs on Erik Evari! Yee, ha!
*Prays that Activision won't sue him for all of the obscure Zork references.*

Just the credits for this movie would last 49304503.68394 hours and they would probably require 15,000 monkey's working at computer graphics stations for 15 years.

But I don't -know- who all I may or may not have introduced. I believe I did introduce Lucy, though.

Siguy Posted Feb 24, 2000
Well if we plan to do it as a computer generated cartoon then maybe we should be saying, who voices the character.

Vakuum Posted Feb 24, 2000
Whatever, it sounds fun to make a script for a movie.. I still think it's very much the same people who invent characters, though, so, it would be very much the same ppl. But I know I invented the blue lizard and the kangaroo..

Well I am not great at voices but I think I could pull off my sassy robot. Unfortunately the most humorous way to do the voice would offend people because it relies on some stereotypes. Well, I guess it is a good thing you can't hear me then.

You made me curious now! How do a sassy robot speak??? Can you type an example?
