Well OK the film is not off the book, but H2G2 researchers have been working on a James Bond Movie.

That's the link to the synopsis and as it's Bond the locations. If you want to pop on by and contribute feel free.

Thanks, DD. Maybe I'll pop in. And leave mauve weasels and temporal paradoxes in my wake.smiley - smiley

Wrll since the fan club appears to be in the busiest forum list right now I'd better check it out now.

I feel like I've walked in in the middle of a conversation. What does Bond have to do with anything?

Nothing to do with the book.

I was just letting fellow literary geiuses on H2G2 know of the existance of a spontanious collaborative Film script if they were interested.

Are you sure that you want The Gam Room Storytellers, DD? We end up leaving lots of mauve weasels, and apocolyptic universal explosions, and dinosaurs, and things. Say, that gives me an evil idea . . .

Well if they can remember the genre their welcome I might be forced to flame non-Bondesque conributions though. Or maybe I'll just get Joanna to curse them.

As long as you remember the genre, yes.

Oh, I'm sure we could keep with the spirit of the thing if we contributed. For now I'm content with just reading it. The current authors are all of similar calibre and maintain the flow well.

I have to agree. Too many characters (or even narrators) on that one could easily spoil the flow.

Well a few sacrificial bad guy cameos will be needed to keep the plot flowing then you can have a walk on and a link to the plot, for a few lines work.

As you saw, I was momentarily distracted by a cheese crumblie under a certain blackjack table, but not before some crude person attached something to my tail.. However, likely that will be my only cameo (until the thread moves on) so you'll have to make of it what you will. (Another bug, probably. smiley - winkeye)

There was some artist who managed to insert a mouse into all his paintings, can't remember the name now, but I'm glad we are keeping his tradition alive.

I remember hearing about that, but I can't remember who it was, either.. Wasn't it one of the more moderish artists?

I think he was 20th C but he painting reality none of the abstract.

I should have said, 'more recent' instead of 'modernish' as I didn't mean to imply 'modernism' as a genre. I just meant he was fairly new, as opposed to one of the Olde Masters.

I have a stained glass piece hanging in my front window. It is about 2' by 3' and has a design with grapes on it. We had the artist include a small mouse in the bottom corner. It's not noticable when you first look, but once you have seen it, it draws your eye.
