High Lord Craxus? *bows* I'm back from the slums. I was able to summon enough creatures to take care of the rat problem for now, but we still need to monitor the situation. Who knows how many are already sick?
I've thought about your offer a little more. The Guild does seem to be in need of Healers, even more so with a plague outbreak on our hands. As I said before, I'll go where I'm needed, and I'll learn those skills I need to as well. When can I start training to be a Healer?
Oh, and brought this back, too. *Pulls trinket out of bag around neck, and sets it on the table.* Thanks for letting me borrow it.

We have a slight problem. It's just that there is a disease building up into a plague down in the slums. Lady Lumien of course is on it, I am giving her personally lessons to become a healer.

Well one of the first things suggested is a moat, of course...I was thinking perhaps water traps of some kind, or a moat. I was thinking perhaps magical barriers, similar to the one that surrounds Outpost Versx, but I'm not sure how difficult they would be to maintain. I suggested mines, perhaps species-specific, but they might be a little unperdictable. One of them came up with having ice on the walls, making them harder to climb, and I like that. Melting it quickly would also cause a perhaps impressive tidal wave...
There was also an idea about having a weakened part of the wall...and behind it a hidden inner wall, thoroughly reinforced, and the space between the two loaded with explosive material. The Illusionists would have to see what they can hide, but I think it's a good possibility. Also, what is possible, is trying to ambush parts of the Dark army, by hiding our troops themselves, but again the extense of the magic needed might prove too much.

M'lord, I do like the idea of creating a second, stronger wall...lure them into a trap. The moat, I think may help but I doubt it would keep them for long; besides the Dark Magicians will hardly be affected by that little a distance.

Yes...I don't believe the moat would do much of anything. Only slow down the enemy for only a minute. I do like the idea of the inner wall. We could use the alloyed metal for that one. Also the idea of the elemental protection along the walls. Tis a good idea.
