*to Lady Shaylar*
I am Wolfgang Von Altwelt, but you may call me Wolf
*to the room at large*
May I suggest that the use of ice as a defence be given very serious concideration. If any here have seen the waterfalls in the mountains during the thaw, you will know how dangerous it is.
Other than that, what kind of eaarly warning systems have we in place?

*Bows*
I am honoured to know you Wolf
I am an Elementalist I can conrol the water but your point is noted, my former home is coated in ice imbued with magic it's the only way I could protect my family from the darkness and I used it as a last resort, it took all my magic to control it and I recommend we use it as a last resort here too
I am not a warrior, but I can use the elements as a wepon for defence

I will pass on your suggestions, backed with my own approval of them, I agree that using ice could be very effective. As for early warning systems, there are scouts and road blocks along the Yurick Virg Mackz road, and the High Lord himself can act as an early warning system...but that itself also needs to be given more consideration.

*quietly, to Shaylar*
You know one of those two is a Lycanthrope? I suspect it's probably the Caretaker, Lord Lycan, or whatever she said his name was.
*Konrad gets up and aproaches Lycan, but stops short and procedes to growl and snarl at him*
ahh yes, it would seem I was right, Konrad can be very funny about warebeasts.
Konrad, come back here
*the Grey Wolf returns to Wolf's side and lays down, still watching Lycan carefully*

*her familiar, Alden, growls then quietens*
*looking as if she's hiding anger*
Mister Von Altwelt, may I enquire as to whether you or your pet has a problem with Lord Lycan? He is, after all, your direct superior - you both being Caretakers - so I am naturally worried about any /discord/. *she stresses the last word*

There is no reason I have been told of as to why he should have a problem with Lycan. However if there is anything either of you might know which may cause a problem then please, I'd be happy to hear it

Might I also suggest you are careful as to how your own familiar acts towards Konrad? After all, I'd hate for there to be any kind of trouble
*smiles sincerely*
*mutters to self*
after all, an evicerated lion makes such a mess
High Council's Chamber
U521150 Posted Apr 15, 2004
Well then. *she raises an eyebrow*
Do you have any ideas other than what we have already discussed?
High Council's Chamber
U521150 Posted Apr 15, 2004
And Mister Von Altwelt, may I warn /you/ about how you control your /pet/? *looks more irritated*
High Council's Chamber
Khamsin Posted Apr 15, 2004
*stands there serious*
If I were you, I wouldn't threaten Lady Pawel

Ahh, Akiro. Sit down, if you would...we were discussing defenses for Imardin, do you have any ideas of your own?
High Council's Chamber
Asmodai Dark (The Eternal Builder, servant of Howard, Crom, and Beans) Posted Apr 15, 2004
*looks at the chair hes sat on, smiles, then calms down*
well theres no point in doing anything let.. lets see what were actually up against at each outpost then we can coordinate the defence.. trying to do anything now will be a waste of resources
High Council's Chamber
U521150 Posted Apr 15, 2004
Yes but you know as well as the rest of us Akiro that Imardin was not defended well enough. The walls are going to be reinforced further, and we are merely discussing more ideas, which I will then take to Lord Craxus. So, any ideas would be more than useful.

I haven't threatened anyone yet, I'll be sure to let you know if and when I do.
And my lady, you should have noticed that Konrad /is/ under control, he hasn't behaved threataningly from the moment I called him back from Lord Lycan. And neither of you have come up with any possible explanation st to Konrads behaviour, and yet he's normally so very friendly.
High Council's Chamber
U521150 Posted Apr 15, 2004
Mister Von Altwelt, you seem to know anyway that yes Lord Lycan is a werewolf, however I wonder why your pet is uncomfortable with it since you yourself are one.
And know I ask that you stop haranguing that subject and we concentrate on the matter at hand. The defense of Imardin.

I like it. Turn their attack into an ambush of sorts. *a slightly feral-looking grin*
