*Strokes chin and worry lines start to form on his forehead*
Use elmental magic to use the land... Craxus i wont do it.. the earth is the magic itself.. by mining it you take away a vital source of magic.. why do you think i have stayed away from the city for so long?

Ahh...Lord Akiro you are some what right.
Don't think of it as taking the elements away, ask the elements for help. See if they can give what we need. For protection...i don't see what the problem would be, if the Dark Alliance marches through her...they will destroy us and the land along with it.

*Worry lines continue*
Its not as simple as that.. by mining the land you take what is there and make it into something different using flame and water.. the magic that was there is.. twisted.. unusable..
I will have no part in useless destruction.. we have no idea of where the enemy are because we refuse to take the fight to them.. the elements will only help if you fight for them, not them fighting for you

The substances that save our lives are unusable? We combine the elements together - earth, fire, water...
And do you realise what would happen if we tried to fight them? Go to them? We would die! The army that waits for us is of a wholly different magnitude to the one we faced previously, and we barely survived that battle...
If we do not tread carefully adn use every resource available we will not win this war.

To kill the beast bigger then yourself you do not strike the body..*shakes fist* you strike the head!

*snorts*
Akiro, how do you suggest we get there! Yurick Virg Mackz blocks the way into their territory, no other way has yet been found...what exactly do you suggest we do!
We know that General Xi'Golv was present for the last battle...if we try to kill him then, the moral and strategic blow may turn the tables.

We cant win on numbers and you know it.. kill the heirarchy and they'll fall into anarchy..
Our first task should not be to rip the land so readily but to give the land a weapon of its own to weild
High Council's Chamber
U521150 Posted Apr 19, 2004
Then Xi'Golv we must target...but we /must/ defend the people of Imardin whilst we do this.
*nods gravely* What do you suggest?
High Council's Chamber
Asmodai Dark (The Eternal Builder, servant of Howard, Crom, and Beans) Posted Apr 19, 2004
Send out riders to see what the enemy is actually doing.. we can conserve resources if we only reinforce what is about to be attacked
High Council's Chamber
U521150 Posted Apr 19, 2004
Do you know how hard it is to send scouts up the Yurick Virg Mackz road...when they get nearer the outpost, it gets dangerous, they can be /killed/ before they reach there...the defenses are almost unknown and beyond that we know now nothing.
High Council's Chamber
Asmodai Dark (The Eternal Builder, servant of Howard, Crom, and Beans) Posted Apr 19, 2004
And that is why we will lose this war.. we know nothing and see only one option..

Defense is important, as important as knowledge, for even if we know what is coming if we do not have adequate defenses then Imardin will fall.
You might suggest meeting the army but it is large enough to surround our troops with enough left over to attack the then defenseless Imardin. We would be abandoning our city.

Eventually we will need to lead attack squads over to the enemy to do the most damage while retaining know casualties....Right now, we are hurting and need our defenses back before we can do our offensive. Our magicians are mostly untrained and need training to be a formidible force.
*Ponders a moment.*
Excuse, i must go see Lady Shaylar.
