*Chandra lands on the windowsill, and calls to someone below. From outside the door, a voice can be heard.*

Of course! I don't know why I didn't check there in the first place!

*Lumien walks in, the ancient book still in hand. Bows, and begins to speak.*

Lady Elandra, Lady Shaylar, Lord Wolf, I believe I might know something that will stem the outbreak of the plague in the Slums.

*She sets the book on the table, and opens it to the marked page, which has illustrations of various plants. She points to one with pink-spotted leaves.*

See? Fairywort posy. It's pretty rare, but it's easy to grow from cuttings. An infusion will cure the plague, and just having it growing near seems to inhibit its transmission. I've seen it before- there's a spot in Kalsho forest that has gobs of it. With your permission, I could collect some, and bring it back to grow in Imardin.

There's another thing that worries me, after reading about the plague. I was starting to exhibit some of the symptoms in the slums, but High Lord Craxus healed me. From what I've read, I shouldn't have been feeling that ill that quickly. We may be dealing with something that's got an accelerating spell on it.

umm, if you want to go out to Kalsho forest to look for this plant, you might like to take Konrad with you. He hasn't been out of the city since we arived and he may also be of some use to you. Also do you know anything about Drow, I want to know what people know before I start making sugestions.

Sorry. I haven't had too much experience with Drow. Most of my run-ins with the Dark Alliance have been with orcs, and human traitors.

*Lumien stews as a memory brings itself up, but calms herself down before she speaks again.*

I know Kalsho pretty well, and I'm kind of used to travelling by myself. Just been a fact of life for me. But if you're willing to spare him, it would be nice to have a little help. Besides, Chandra's night vision is as poor as regular hawks. If we're caught out at night, having a wolf with us will better our chances.

Take him, he'll get fat cooped up inside all the time and with no-one to play with.

*turns back to the others*

I still don't see why we have to go through Yurick Virg Mackz

To get to the enemy? The mountains that surround it on either side stretch for hundreds of leagues, they are high and nigh-impassable. Once over them, a winged scout would be taken out by their patrols...all we have tried has failed.

Right well lets just sit here then, reinforce walls against a foe we certainly cant hold out against, and complaint about defeat..

While you do that.. i think ill go and do something productive

Go under them...it makes sense; though the Drow would be watching the pass we would be able to hold our own...
