I'm not exactly sure how ours work, I have to pass all of them though.

At Warwick, you have to pass all the core modules - otherwise you have to resit in September. If you then pass the resit, you only get the mark you got in the first exam - harsh, but fair.

As far as epithany term I think it's just the older collegiate Uni's that have such names, check with Oxford, Cambridge, Bristol and St. Andrews. Can't contribute any futher on the last days rambling here so I'm signing off.

*laughs* Yes, DD... Sorry about that...
*smiles* At least I'm trying not to resurrect forums with other people in it...
*smiles* You know... me and Vicki are trying to find out whose NRS is stronger and stranger...
*smiles* She stands no chance, but doesn't realise it...
*slightly wonders if he had explained this to DD already, or if it had been someone else... doesn't really care... *
*smiles* Well... I'll have to read that bit, as soon as I have the time, that is....

*DD wonders if he really could trawl through his posts and find how strong his NRS is then thinks better off it*
Too many threads too little time.

*grins* Perfectly understandable..... you know... perhaps that's the "sane" way of looking at it...
*smiles* Well... who said I was sane.... My NRS is stronger than my will to resist....
So.... sorry again.... but you'll have to put up with this forum popping up every once in a while... if Vicki doesn't drop it, that is...
...because I won't....

I've not dropped it...i just got delayed by the university...
You know...DD...i think you'd be...erm...completely bonkers to go through all of your old forums...

argh.my nrs would jump out the window to get away from all of them...

Then again.... if you were in my position.... you might end up doing what I do... I'm not replying to *all* the forums, either....
*grins as he wonders if he should be saying this.... *
*smiles as he realises that it doesn't really matter.... as it's hardly more than a week now until we all meet... *
*smiles* And I'm glad you haven't dropped that one, Vicki... Not that I thought you would....
*smiles*

Yep... it *is* no replies syndrome......
*smiles* And... you're right.... I don't know how I came to the idea of you dropping it...
*grins* I'm sure there was *some* reason....
Well... actually.... I'm not...
Don't mind me... just babbling to myself....

Well.... of course.... we could organise an h2g2 meetup... but... at such short notice, I doubt a lot of people would come...
Although.... I wonder how many researchers live in London anyway...
And I'm sure we'll meet some other time...
