Hello all!
I know you're not online yet, but I'll post the results of my Scrabble drawing activities anyway
I thought I'd start a new forum as I haven't finished reading the other still I'm definitely losing the thread of a conversation if I'm online as rarely as I am!
Well, here they are. They are ALL REAL!!!
HEHALFE
JEKAIF
FOLRITE
QAZERTIS
IELFEAS
IFNOLTE
NORELIK
... and thousands and thousands of "FGHRTSGD" and "EIIAOEI"
See you around!

PP, you've prooved that it IS possible to get something sensible out of a scrabble board
OK, so it might not be the most accurate way of naming things as you don't always get sense out of it all the time, but still, hooray!!

PS, glad you started a new forum thingy, cos this one doesn't take half as long as the other one to load up

Well, the truth is that I tried to get online at school... There, we don't have the Most up-to-date comp equipment, but almost... 486-SX-50s... And there, I had to wait 2 minutes for my own homepage to load, and tha lesson wasn't enough for the old forum

Errare humanum est!

PS: Sorry for that, I just got an A in a Latin exam... it's sort of an obsession to quote ancient Romans by now... it means "Erring is human".

Only ever saw it the once in a little backstreet, but it always stuck in my mind.
For links to forums, run two windows at once, go to the forum you want to send people to, highlght the address at the top of the page and press Ctrl+C. Then go to the reply box in the other forum and press Ctrl+V. It will copy and paste with no need to write out the whole thing long-hand. Same thing can be done when putting in links to other pages in articles.
That's how I do it and it saves a lot of time, which means I can respond quicker.

Another thing you can do is preview your post, right click on the URL and open it in a new window. Then you can tell if this is where you want to g

I usually end up running 3 or 4 windows at once. That way, I can still be typing while I'm waiting for another couple of pages to load up!

That's what I'm sort of doing, but it still takes me ages. Some of the pages are really slow to load up.
At least the new link works

Three or four is nothing. I can have up to 10, if the screen's big enough! Right now I have six!

I tried having 5 or 6, but I got a message saying the system was low on virtual memory, telling me to close some applications.
But 3 or 4 works fine for me as it's about as many I can keep track of at the moment.
Hmmm... I seem to have run out of donut. Must pop by to get another...
