80s stuff...I got four albums from 1980, and at least three more from the rest of the 80s...and for someone who ain't got many albums, only half of which are metal...hey, you can go to my homepage and see all my albums there

I prefer my metal a little "stranger"... - ever heard "Hawkwind"? Lemmy formed Motorhead when Hawkwind kicked him out for getting arrested with pocketfuls of drugs during a US tour... ("Motorhead" was the title of a Hawkwind track - he used the name to bug them!) They've been gigging since the late '60s, and are still on the road! Apparently they just did a "live" appearance for Australian TV, too. A testament, perhaps, to the preservative nature of alcohol and drugs...
