A Conversation for h2g2 Freaks
I'm a Freak!
jimmiejaz Posted Jun 15, 2000
I think the title says it all, don't you? I have been a freak since the day I popped out of my mommy, a little over a quarter century ago. H2G2, MST3000, the Python gang, the Young Ones, Bottom, Anthony Burgess, the list goes on and on and on and on.

so the link(you're welcome) and logo are up. I guess that this means I'm no longer a freak since there are more people like me around, huh? Oh well I like the sound of a group of freaks rising up and taking control of the rest of the world. YEEHAWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!

Archangel Tweetie (01/06/02...) Posted Jun 15, 2000
You can be a freak in company- the point is that all freaks are different, the only way we lose our freakdom is to become the same. That's what seperates us and the production line airheads.
Ok, sermon over- back to the fun and shallowness
I'm a Freak!
jimmiejaz Posted Jun 15, 2000
"A freak in the company of freaks is still a freak" anonymous(quite possibly an old greek freak)
Now lets see some of this fun and shallowness. It's about time to assert ours weird and strange ways, go forth and preach the word of "freakdom" to unwashed masses. Go stand on the mountain and yell, yell at the top of your lungs "All Hail the Freaks"

I have no extra appendages, and I don't make a living by geeking live animals or working at the adult video store, and NO, I don't know demonbarf21, captainpigarse, or dildo_baggins from the algebra club.
I believe the k freakdom is loudest when silent.
I believe in wearing my "jesus built my hotrod" t-shirt on casual friday. I call ties decorator nooses even if they are designed by acid eating rock stars like Jerry Garcia (yes I own one, I admit it freely).
I don't drink coffee or smoke tobacco, and I don't mix cold medication with booze. I believe that freaks should have their own country, not just sealand (www.sealandgov.com)and parts of Toronto.
My name is Brendan, and I am a PHREAK.

Just a question Voodoo, You said you "don't make a living by geeking live animals". Does that mean dead animals are fair game? Just wondering.

geeking
Voodoo Zimbabwe Posted Jun 17, 2000
I believe by definition one can only geek a live animal. Therefore I am exhibiting some sort of freaky redundancy.
yt,
Voodoo Zimbabwe.

I see said the blind man to his deaf son. My bad
Well since we are all freaks I guess there's no my bads eh?
As for your comment about freaky redundancy, I really like that saying, I think I might have to add it to my vocabulary, yeah, I think I will.
Thanx for the new saying

88425 (...older, and yet LESS wiser...???) Posted Jun 17, 2000
I'm (supposedly) a freak. I don't boast about it, and I think that's best.
The best thing about freaks is that they don't feel PEER pressure. You know all these things you see on TV about kids doing daft or down-right stupid stuff because of what other folk did, well - I never had that problem.
I'm a FREAK because I NEVER HAD ANY PEER PRESSURE - because I never had any peers!
My friend and I were each one of a pair, and no-one was ever like us - or wanted to be.
Can I join? Do I get in?
88425 (so that was that...or so we thought!)

That's what I was thinking. Sudden influx of people willing to brave and over-long thread when there's a much shorter alternative...
