A map! A map!

Is there an X for treasure? Or at least a skull and crossbones?

Hmmm....I don't like the look of that missing chunk....where're the Invisiclues when ya need 'em?

*peeks over Affy's shoulder to get a better look at the map*



Why do I have a bad feeling about what's in that smudge in the middle ?

*idly strokes the top of a slightly battered silver cane with a dogs head on the top*

Have we got spare batteries for the torches/flashligts? Hang on - do we even have torches/flashligts?

*having had nasty memories of running around searching for a vending machine and ending up in complete darkness*

I have my trusty miner's helmet with light attached, T, also the laser sight on my carameliser,

I've not got much - everything I had is still in sea's pocket-of-destiny .... but I do have my nice new cane.

*avoids Garius's gaze and holds onto cane tightly*

I have a mini mag.

Now Red Dog, don't you be taking advantage of me. That's my cane and I only lent it to you. You know, for just as long as you needed it. Er, perhaps you are done with it now, in fact. If so, maybe you could, um, return it.

*Takes in the somewhat battered appearance of the cane and looks pained.*

*Watches GL and RD*

*passes GL and RD a each to distract and calm them*

*takes the saucer in one hand and holds cane fast in the other*

*Grabs hold of the other end of the cane and gives it a sharp tug.*

Oh, it's okay Caer. Red Dog and I are the best of friends, right Red Dog? He's just teasing and will give me back MY cane any moment now.

*Gives another quick pull on the cane*

Anyway, perhaps we should all get going. This map shows us the way we need to go - well, except for that missing bit in the middle. But I'm sure we can figure out that part when we get there.

*Starts packing up, one-handed, while still maintaining his grip on the cane*
