I'm fine, because:
- we finally had our Flamenco performance, meaning I will no longer spend 5 nights a week rehearsing
- I've almost completed next year's budget, meaning I won't need to worry about it during the weekend (have to deliver it at noon Monday)
- and because it's FRIDAYYYYYYY!

Good Morning One-Eye, Ook, Titania! It's Friday! IIEM, something to drink please, suitable for a lovely Friday morning.

Hi Freedom!
I saw your posting at the Swedish Meet Up - I haven't worked out the details yet...
Where in Sweden do you live - or have I asked that before?

Finally time to pop by! Hello everybody!
IIEM, may I have a milkshake please?
Today, I became rich.

Titania - I think I once asked you where you lived (Haninge wasn't it?) but forgot to mention where I was myself - Sorry!
I live in Huddinge and currently work in Farsta, so I'm up for a beer anytime I guess. But right now I'll have another latte, IIEM if you would be so kind?

Hi all!
Don't get me wrong, I like Fridays just as much as the next guy, it's just that "everything" has to finished before the weekend!!!!
IIEM; coffee, please!
You Swedish people! I'm sorry to admit that I am not adept with the geography of Sweden. I am, however, going to Stockholm on the 23rd, for a course in potentiometric titration(!). Any of you in the vicinity?

Belated Hello! to Joanna and JAR! JAR, wanna tell us how you got rich?
One-eye, I'm practically always in the vincinity. What is potentiometric titration?

hehe. Rich is of course relative .... I have the year that has been served the nation through civil service. I have been paid barely enough to keep myself alive. This week is my last week of service, meaning that the governement pays me an extra amount of money (to help us poor servants survive or something), in addition my very late scholarship has arrived. In effect I have today one hundred times the money I had yesterday. for people with regular jobs, the actuall numbers won't be very impressive, but I'm happy.
How are you guys doing?

Hi Joanna! Hi JAR!
One-eye, both Freedom and I work or live in or in the vicinity of Stockholm. Would that be the 23rd of October?

'ning JAR, Joanne, One eye!
Espresso, please IIEM
Wealth is so relative, ain't it? I mean, if I were to take my salary to UK (or US) I would starve. But if I worked in Indonesia I would be rich! So, considering how the Aussie dollar is doing at the moment, I am staying put for a while.

Sorry Freedom, didn't see you when I first came in (bad pun coming: you must've been hiding behind a post)
Trying desparately to remeber my university chemistry, I think potentiometric titration is a chemical procedure to distil something or other...using their chemical "potential"
God, I'm bad with the memory today...but it's been so long since I thought about chemical experiments ('cept the ones at bars, of course)

JAR (happy to be back, but where's Ping?) Posted Oct 13, 2000
*looks puzzled*
Are there any other chemical experiments?

Yes, its the 23rd of October.
Potentiometric titration is (roughly)a branch of chemistry dealing with determination of content through letting the substance to be examined (analyte) react with other substances (titrant) and thereby altering the electric potential of the solution in which the sample is dissolved. This is then detected with an electrode. The probably widest used application is the determination of chloride-/chlorine-content.
Did that make any sense at all?
So, any chance of a meet? Don't know which hotel I'll be staying at yet, but I'll probably know by Tuesday or Wednesday.
IIEM, more coffee, please!
