Aroma Café: The Return of the Cappuccino
Irving Washington - Gone Writing Started conversation Sep 18, 2000
Welcome one and all to the Aroma Café. For those of you who are new here, don't be afraid! If no one is actually here to take your order, you can always ask the IIEM (Infinite Improbability Espresso Machine) and it will deliver whatever non-alcoholic beverage you desire. Please don't ask for anything more complicated -- it tends to take things overly literally, especially when you're asking for something, er, alive...
Anyway, welcome welcome welcome!

Yes, Irv, I conveniently am related to her. Get it?
A white hot, if you please, and with whipped cream.

Hi,
I would like what a charming Greek gentleman called "sex in a glass". In a small glass add a scoop of icecream and pour strong hot coffee over it. Sip it slowly through the icecream froth that forms on the top.

Bluebottles tea is not what you call sexy, but it is very good!
Pour me one BB?

BB, what was the name of the website where you could use icq without having it or something like that?
You told me but I've forgotten it......

So should I, exams on Thursday......

Freedom Posted Sep 18, 2000
Yes, homework...basic topology turned out to be not so basic...the exam's not until October 20th though.
*Highlights the Heine-Borel theorem*
It's strange - when I'm not taking any courses I really miss studying, and in the middle of every course I hate it. I'm just too curious to quit.
*Highlight some lemma or other*

Oh I don't have time to read, I have reports to do, taxes to pay and this blasted program that's just been updated and all the reports have gone ascew! Aaaargh! And Netscape crashed on the bantu thing, but that was just a procrastination anyway and if I was talking aloud now I would sound like I was breathing helium..!
Blblbllblblb!
Down with the shoulders, breathe deep and slow..
Ffffffffhhhhh.....

That's it Bumble, slow deep breaths...would you like another nice cup of tea perhaps? I'll have another latte myself.
*packs up book and highlighter, having done all the highlighting she could possibly handle in one day, and approaches the IIEM*
IIEM, double latte please, and a cup of tea for Bumble since she seems to need it.

*gasp*
I'm ok, I'm ok....
You know I went to the bank the other day, for the job, and every time I go to the bank it's rearranged; but this time I thought they had closed it. The room was almost completely empty, just a light sprinkle of rickety-looking high tables with tiny monitors on them. And the people working there called themself bank-hosts. Like we were going to a coctail-party... It nearly freaked me out.
Look at the time, I gotta go.
Thanks for tea!

*jingle-ling**hmmmm? no sound of breaking glass*
Irv, wasn't there a piece of glass in the door yesterday? Or, is it so clean I just can't see it? Oh, well. Just passing by.
Hi, all.

Bye, all.
