Aroma Café: The Return of the Cappuccino
Freedom Posted Oct 12, 2000
Lucky you, I wish I had that much time
You're probably right. I'm just glad to be credited either way

Off for lunch a bit there. Back now.
The Nobels Prize goes out to every subject you can think of I guess..
I don't think deed and reward goes hand in hand anymore... Reap the rewards and try not to think of who planted the sead, eh?

"Take Five"? Dave Bruebeck? Sounds familiar, but I can't place it...
My humblest apologies for being so ignorant..

My father introduced me to Dave Bruebeck. He had been listening to an old casette with Take Five on it when he was but a boy. Two years ago he bought a Dave Bruebeck Greatest, and found the very same recording of Take Five as track one! I fell in love with it the moment I heard it.
One-Eye: It's a kind of jazz-thingy... hard to explain, simply nice listening. Enjoy!

Is he still active?

OK, it was just announced...well, 55 minutes ago actually, but anyway:
The winner of this year's Nobel Prize in literature is: Gao Xingjian.
Anyone familiar with the name?

Hi Titania! How are you?
I think maybe Bruebeck is dead, but I could be wrong. I'm not very good at following up on artists...

Thanks Bluebottle
I've never heard of him either. Noone ever has, it seems. Except the members of the Academy that decides the winner.

Hiya BB!
In Norway we have saying "bedre sent enn aldri" which translates into something like "better late than never"
Thanks!

He's probably a great chap, winning the Nobel's and all. Even if noone has ever heard of him. Now we do at least!
