Hello ook.
IIEM, if you don't mind, I'd like a glass of water. I'm parched.

Morning One-Eye,
Floods in and around the eastern parts of our country... Italy seems to have tried to threaten it's way into the Security Councel (bright idea that!)... Norway lost (football)... Maybe there is some hope in the Middle East...
The usual I guess.
How are you anyway, this not so wet morning?

Mornin' BS! A bit more cheery today, perhaps?
I'm fine thanks, JAR, and thank heavens it's not as wet today as it was last night...
Got myself into a bit of a predicament though...
I'm really falling for this girl at work, which, if isolated, is a good thing. The thing that gives the whole business an acidic taste, is the fact that I've got a girl I care very much about at home...
+ it's not a good thing to be working together and having an affair... (I think)

Morning one-eye, I'm feeling a lot better this morning thanks .
Sounds like you've got a bit of a tricky predicament there. I would tend to agree, work and affairs are probably not a good mixture. It could be difficult if the affair ends and you still have to work together. Not to mention the effect on home life.

Quite a predicament! Being the conservative, traditionloving youngster that I am, I think perhaps you should use this situation to streangthen your relationship to the one at home.
"How?" you may ask. "Good question. I'm glad you asked" would be my inital answer.
Seriously, I'm guessing the thing at work isn't really anything more that a crush. It might feel strong (overpowering even, I've been there...), but it's probably only hormones, pheromones and other chemical stuff. (At least, let's hope...) Flirting with the one at work might release sexual energies. Stuff you can share with the one at home?
Really, I'm probably not the right person to give advice though as I've been through less relationships than you can count on a pirates wooden leg...
Good luck though! I hope you figure it out.

Thanks for the advice/opinion-sharing!
I'm wondering though JAR; how do you manage to write like that? I believe you're the person I've met at h2g2 who writes in the most interresting fashion!!

Now you got me nervous! But thank you! I really don't know "how" I write at all... just, you know... like.. uhm I write ... eh... natural...like. Impossible to answer. I'll just repeat what I said at the beginning.

*laughs like something that just escaped the closed ward*
I did it!! Ha-ha-ha!! I cramped your style!!!
Nah, just kidding!
But seriously, you do write in an amusing way, and your welcome!!
Over to something entirely different:
I just discovered that I've been taken in as a co-author of an entry! It was an entry on words with different meanings, and I dropped a line in the forum! So, now it's been revised, and I'm on the author-list!!! My first entry, and it isn't even mine....

Ha! You will never cramp me! Never I say!
Congratulations! See how easy it is to become an auther in this community? I love it. I got an e-mail a few weeks back saying my entry had been approved and was now a part of a larger entry on Drinking Games. Well, the Edited entry had one sentence I recognized as similar to what I had written... Oh, well.. I got my name on it anyway. Anything for a little PR, eh?

Morning Freedom .
One-eye, I got credited for an entry that didn't have anything of mine in the final version so don't feel guilty .

Not really...depends on what you're interested in...
New Minister of Justice here in Sweden, Middle East situation about the same, and apparently somone got a Nobel Prize in Economics? I didn't even know there was such a prize.
*sips latte*
So how are you? I've been away a while, what's been going on here lately?

Hi BS! How's life?
I've also been credited for co-authoring an entry - the e-mail I got said some stuff from one of my forum postings had been used, but in fact I had never once posted in any forum belonging to that particular article. Go figure.
