Surely some form of speech recognition software will allow some form of interation. But I'm not sure how you'd be able to read the articles and posts though.
My advise is to stop doing anything that may cause blindness.

The best thing to do is to have 6-inch diamond shutters attached to your eyes. That way nothing, not even bullets, can get to you. Or about 6 miles of lead attached to your eyes - that way not even a nuclear explosion could blind you.

Unless Montgormery Scott really did leave the specs for that durable clear steal, when the Enterprise visited for the whales.

Another error in Star Trek! In "Star Terk IV: The Voyage Home" Scott (who is supposed to be Scottish) calls "Transparent Aluminium" "Transparent Aluminum" - which is the American translation...
But it is a good idea - shall we recommend it to Peta?

Yeah I hate it when that happens. Apparently they are going to remake the Colditz Story next in Hollywood, at the end of the war of the 183 prisioners in Colditz only 8 were American and well over half were British. First they steal the enigma, now they take over Colditz. What next, Henry VIII was born in the Bronx.

Wouldn't surprise me - afterall, 98% of the people who've played Robin Hood have had obvious American accents....

True. Could you imagine the American's next war movie will probably be the Battle of Britain and how the american pilots won that one for us.

I want to make an "accurate" American War of Independence film saying how it was a great British Victory - see if they can take it themselves...

I thought you knew they did, DD. Have you not been studying your Hollywood History correctly??

Boy I must ahve missed that one. So I suppose the American Spitfire pilots bravely took on the Luftwaffe then in the spring of 1940.

No, you forgot the rule, DD, that all Germans or other non-English speaking parts are played by British actors, especially Gary Oldman, Alan Rickman and Jeremy Irons (Born on the Isle of Wight).

British remakes of Westerns might be interesting. The Italians did it with marked success.
Nice to see Fiend back among us! Good morning DD, good morning Bluebottle. IIEM, let me have the A L Special and the Guardian, please. *goes to favourite table*
You can't win with a movie about the American Revolution, since that would be a REALLY radical revision of reality, much more so than whose airplanes were in the Battle of Britain. Plus, everybody DID have British accents, so you can't really make that point either.
But how about Pearl Harbor? Give the Japanese American accents, and the US ... lose. Hm. Y'know, Mel Brooks sewed it all up in Blazing Saddles with his Yiddish-speaking Indians.

Stop complaining! Who here's seen the Mask of Zorro? Since when is Zorro Welsh, hm? As for Robin Hood, Mel Brooks (whom you've mentioned) at least gave him an English accent -- and everyone knows that's the best version there is, anyway. Oops, there goes my alarm -- off to brave the public transportation system of Tucson
