*looks around furtively* Is fiend going to kill me? I don't understand why he makes such a fuss about my service, when he's demanding coffee at 3am my time! But the IIEM took care of that, I assume.
Vlad! Good to see you! *does secret RKK handshake* Very good indeed. Here's a mocha, with -- er... this place is supposed to be non-alcoholic. *pours brandy in while noone is looking* So if anyone asks, I couldn't supply the brandy, good friend!

I'll have one of those ... er ... brandy-free mocha's too.
(Just felt like a change from my usual Majic Tea.)

Garius, You'll have to join the Righteous Knights of Kettering http://www.h2g2.com/A180802 , first.

Hey Garius, Bluesslider, Hello Vlad
I see I've been a bit sniffy again before I get my first cup of tea. Sorry about that cloughie, just my loyalty streak
I do need some milky coffee, sweet: I had to wear real shoes today for the first time since the middle of January. But I had some RL apple spice donuts...!

Hi Lil. One of the big advantages to where I work is it is very casual. I wear jeans every day and sneakers (or running shoes, as I would normally say as a true Canadian). I haven't worn dress shoes since ... um ... well, I don't remember when. I can also get away with shaving only twice per week, which is good because I am cursed with sensitive skin that objects to more frequent shaving (and yes, I have tried a beard, but didn't like it)

Lorks this is busy *^_^*
I think I'll have a magik tea cos I haven't had one 4 ages. This is an IIEM job, right? I have trouble telling when Irv is asleep, how can I tell if he won't pop back in the next 30 mins? Don't talk to me about time zones, please...I thought I had the dratted things mastered *^_^*
1 tragik tea, then, herr IIEM.

Besides a pair of very elderly trainers for lawn work and some Walmart neoprene & rubber sandals to shopping errands, I never wear shoes if I can help it. I go barefoot most of the time. I have lots of shoes though. High heels ceased to be an option when I injured an ankle (about the same time I broke my wrist and in the same circumstances!), but I have plenty of decent shoes and spiffy trainers that I can wear when I have to. I just don't like to.
Should we be worried about Fiend? He looks ever so bedraggled, truly ready for the weekend...
Ohmigod! I just heard the B-24 fly over!!!! (I _know_ that plane) The big Fly-In starts on Sunday and the planes and people are already arriving. Tomorrow will be nonstop arrivals and Sunday will be Glorious Noise Day when the warbirds have their show.
Our local supermarket has turned into Ripoff City, with huge displays flanking the entranceway. Bottled water, salty junk food, sun lotion, portable chairs, more junk food .... and souvenirs, of course. I am as stocked up as possible with groceries so that I don't have to shop while the prices are higher.

*Reenters, a bit refreshed* Mike, you sort of have to guess. Usually I try to make a comment when I go off for the night, or a nap (like I've just done).
Did you want something?

I can't believe I had another simulpost with Mike A and yet the posts are marked an hour apart. Well, I tend to dawdle sometimes, especially over the longer posts. Or maybe Mike is taking pentagram avoidance measures.
A beechcraft got in the way of a military jet this afternoon while I was outside, attracted by the roaring. The jets, a clutch of them, were doing low passes, getting a feel for the site before it gets crowded... but people are flying in already.
So I saw the jet coming in from way off with its landing light on (one of the brighter things around), and suddenly the beechcraft came in, banking hard to get on the landing path. The jet was in no danger, but he did have to come round again.
Twenty years of these and nothing has fallen on my house yet.

Good luck! I'm off for a while now and the IIEM is set on automatic for now...
NOW HEAR THIS! NOW HEAR THIS! THE INFINITE IMPROBABILITY ESPRESSO MACHINE IS HEREBY SET TO AUTOMATIC -- THIS MEANS IT WILL SERVE YOU. DO NOT WAIT FOR IRVING WASHINGTON TO RETURN AS HE WILL BE OUT FOR AN UNDISCLOSED AMOUNT OF TIME! THAT IS ALL.

*kidding*
Even I can't remember what I wanted *^_^*. I guess a pork pie will do me for now. Got any little snacks like them around?
Ooops...
"IIEM machine, please give me a freezing cold pork pie and a packet of salted peanuts please"
...

Evening all... I'll take, surprise surprise, a hot chocolate...
Here in Philadelphia we have hit spring and the weather is gorgeous - temperature is like 75 degrees constantly. And my neighbourhood smells of flowers. Ah...
Meanwhile I have loads of work to do. Hate when that happens.
