IIEM, I'll have a Lil Special.
I've been doing watercolouring and the washes need to dry.
Yar, you need a tablet.

We had a new digibox installed yesterday, as the last one was on the blink. Now the new one has 'gone' half way through the first show in the final series of Friends .
This area is reknowned for power surges, the technician who came yesterday had visited two other homes where the boxes had gone due to surges, before ours .
IIEM, a hot please.

IIEM, a cappuccino, please.
I am exhausted.
I got a compliment for my English today. I know it is all thanks to h2g2.

V. Hati, when I was typing to you on IM I couldn't have told that you weren't a native English speaker. Mind you I have "Product of the 80s education system all over my typing" and I was home educated
A's Bloke B is round and it turns out he flys light aircraft, so We've been boring A to death with deep discussion of the need or otherwise for an engine in an aircraft.
Oh and what would happen if a glider got into a fight with a jumbo jet.

[Mog] Yeah, but what about when I get the urge to --
[He is abruptly splashed with hot water for no apparent reason and transforms into Dylan.]
[Dylan] Yeah, but what about when I get the urge to draw something when there isn't a tablet in sight?

I rarely leave my computer so the situation doesn't arise but I suppose you could use a biro and the back of an envelope. Chalk and pavement? Pencil and paper?

It's the same thing for me. I get an absolutely brilliant sentence for my research paper, and I'm no where near a writing instrument. I've been known to call myself and leave messages, write them on toilet paper and napkins, get out of the shower dripping wet with shampoo in my hair, etc.
I think that's just one of those quirks of life.

I have that other habit of forgetting all the brilliant ideas. And if I manage to write them down I will forget where I wrote it. No chance.

Fanta please, IIEM.
I just managed to spend half an hour in Blockbuster Video, wandering vaguely around looking for something which matched my mood. Unfortunately my mood today can best be described as "kind of floppity" and the only "kind of floppity" film they had was "It's A Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie", which I got out the other week, when I was last feeling "kind of floppity" would you believe.
Anyway, so I spend half an hour in a small branch of Blockbuster, eventually decide to get two films I've never seen before- I'll take one from the new releases, and one from the "we've had these since we opened, you can take it out for a week for a pound, please for god's sake TAKE IT!" section, and some food.
So, I'm now in posession of "the Man Who Sued God", "Withnail and I", a tunbe of pringles, and a big box of wine gums.
Oh, and I stopped at McDonalds en route to the library to get some food. i must be the only person who goes for fast food at half eleven at night and decides on a pasta salad.
Anyway, I'm now sorely tempted to break the library's strict "no food, no drink, absolutely none, zero tolerance, AND THAT MEANS YOU, BIG BLOND DUDE!" policy. Wine gums...
Anyway, there was something I was going to ask people, but I'll wait til I've checked all my backlog for stuff.
