The Aroma Café: Past Christmas

*The Deep Purple sofa is still residing in front of the fire place*
*The IIEM (the Infinite Improbability Espresso Machine) has learnt how to talk, and if you ask it nicely it'll serve you any hot or cold, caffinated, decaffinated, or anti-caffinated drink of your choice - as long as it doesn't contain alcohol....
The pianola in the corner is now covered by a thin layer (very thin, so as not to alert the cleaning bot!) of dust
On the counter you'll find a tray of freshly baked and still warm saffron buns.
You might occasionally catch a glimpse of something blue in the rafters - that'd be Ook the blue orangutang who is, I'm sure, happy to beat you in scrabbles any day!
A note from the proprietor, Irving Washington:
No smoking inside, please, unless you are fitted with a Personal Patio Bubble (PPB).

[IIEM]: A First to the Forum Mug for you, Madame! What would you like to have in it?

And I'll have a vanilla latte, please!
*sinks down into the Deep Purple sofa, utterly relaxed*
[IIEM]: One Blue Java and one Vanilla Latte coming up!

[All the moogles shuffle into the new thread, making a cacophany of "kupo" sounds.]

[The Moogles abruptly go silent.]
[Random Moogle] ... Kupo?
[Mog arrives, followed by a smaller Moogle.]
[Mog] Hello, I'd like to introduce my second-cousin's nephew! Say hello, Mowgli!
[Smaller Moogle] ... Kupo?
[The other Moogles greet him with a chorus of "Kupo"]

So many moogles...*scratches head*
IIEM, a vanilla latte please!
Well, that was quite a drop in temperature between today and yesterday. It snowed during most of the day yesterday but, since it was fairly warm, it instantly turned into slosh. Then it got really cold, so the water and slosh froze.
The Swedish authorities have this zero vision about number of deaths in traffic, but this year doesn't look good - not with this kind of weather with warm/cold, cold/warm. It looks as if the number will go up above 500 of people killed in traffic accidents for the year 2003...
Oh - and if the temperature had gone up instead of down, this would have been a rather nice Scandinavian summer day, but instead...

I wish this winter eventually decide wether it'll stay or go. We expect -18C for tonight and +4C in 4-5 days time.
IIEM, a peppermint tea, please. I need some sleep now.
