Excellent, and I'd just got myself oiled up. Impeccable timing!

Yikes, what a headache....
That Kumquat Brandy sure packs a kick; my head feels as if twenty rampaging ox danced upon the head a pin suspended in vitriol in a swimming pool balenced on my forehead...
Erm, if I might choose a Name of Power, I would be the Grandiloquent Enigmatic Obfuscation Disseminator Extraordinaire. Just call me GEODE for short...
California room? Hmmmmm.....

Why couldn't you just be the Grand High Pomogranate?

I like Fred, Fred's good, it suggests a swirling miasma of evil lurking just below the surface. After all, look at other famous evil Freds. Fred West, Freddie Kruger, Fred Flintstone...the list is endless.

Freddie Mercury... Right Said Fred...

Keep your hands on the wheel
Keep your eyes on the road
Pretty California girls
Sitting in the back
Hugging and kissing with Fred

...um...I can't think of any more freds. Sorry.

You know what? I like that idea...
With a regular name like the Grand High Pomogranate, I do need a name of Power that sounds more like a normal name, almost as if the names were switched.
'Fred'. I like it...subtly evil, yet innocuous enough that nobody notices. Just say that I'm the group's Fred...it'll explain everything...
Hmmmm.....
"The Potentate of Pletheral Punishment--Irving Washington"
"The Pariah of Pertitude--Vladamir"
"Fred--The Grand High Pomogranate"
Yes, that might work....

The dark days of L'quioch yn Ketyrngh were indeed dark. They were known for it. Those few texts which survived the ravages of the N'Bobyl-Hattyd are collected in The Legendary Journeys of The Knights of Kettering

Don't you just hate it when you try to do a clever bit of GuideML or HTML in a forum and don't realize until later that you CAN'T? Erg, that always gets me!

Fred the weather man on Richard and Judy - he's pretty subversive.
A return
Irving Washington - Gone Writing Posted Dec 3, 1999
Brothers! I have missed thee dearly! Wilst ye not return?
A return
Merkin Posted Dec 4, 1999
I am setting forth on a quest! Yes, A QUEST... to the land of the Berbers, from whence came N'Bobyl-Hattyd, he who stole the Talisman of Power. With fire and sword, and the occasional pink gin, I shall seek out this knave, and burn his eyes out with a toasting fork.
My brothers I shall be gone 9, yea nine, nights, and nine, verily 9, days. But, come the waxing of the moon, and the beginning of the holy moth fo Ramadan, for tis observed in the lands of the Berbers, I shall return, and we shall drink much brandy and hear tales of deeds done, and maidens...done.
Ma'huish U'qui Ketyrngh.
My dreams sing of Kettering. (See Irving, I had to tell you eventually)
A return
Irving Washington - Gone Writing Posted Dec 5, 1999
You shall be missed, Great Hairless Beaver Merkin! But the Knights of Kettering shall support ye from afar! ('course, I've only ever been supporting you from afar anyway)
~Irving
