A Conversation for FANTASY FOOTBALL - Season IX - "The Latin One"
WEEK ONE
GreyDesk Started conversation Dec 7, 2003
Hello, and welcome to the first week of this, the ninth season of the h2g2 Fantasy Football League
Now I know it is a bit early to be posting these up under normal circumstances, but I recognise that some players may not have access to a PC over the Xmas and New Year period. So they might appreciate the opportunity of making their selections now before all of the festivities begin.
The first week's games are all taken from the FA Cup 3rd round.
Yeovil v Liverpool
Crewe Alexandria v Telford United
Nottingham Forest v West Bromwich Albion
Southampton v Newcastle
Tranmere Rovers v Bolton Wanderers
The closing date for your selections is 12noon on Saturday 3rd January (2004)
In a departure from the normal rules. I will allow you to change the name of your selected scorer if need be for this week only, as a lot can happen between now and the closing date some four weeks hence!
And the best of luck to you all

B, I think you can take that as a 'no' on the bonus point issue.

Any old iron, Any old iron, An-y an-y an-y old iron. You look neat, talk about a treat, you look dapper from your napper to your feet. Dressed in style, brand new tile, and your father's old green tie on. But I wouldn't give you tuppence for your old watch chain.
Old iron, old iron.
