Complaining when you're 100% right. This works esp well in Comet, Curry's, PCWorld, etc. Although I'm seldom 100% right in PCWorld

If you take a knob of blu-tack and flatten it, then you can tug it out with your fingers until it gets so thin it loses its smoothness and begins to break up. It looks something like a spider's web, or a piece of very old muslin.
What's more, every time you do it you get a different effect.

I have been known to while away several minutes by lying on my back in bed or on a sofa, and trying to 'fit' the angle created by my foot into the angle of the corner of the ceiling. It takes some concentration but is a bit of mindless fun. If you are interested, I can give detailed instructions in another posting. But I doubt I'll have many takers

Taking off my glasses and running the tips of the arms across my forehead in zig zag patterns.
Don't know what it is about that but I find it incredibly relaxing....
