Oh the relief and schadenfreude on discovering that a big boob has been made and it wasn't me!

On the subject of big boobs, I'm reliably informed that taking one's bra off at the end of the day is one of life's little pleasures.

I don't know about anybody else, but taking my lady friend's bra at the end of the day gives me a certain amount of pleasure.

Cold, windy, wet nights in the winter are made pleaurable. Cycling home is a mission with pure joy at the end of it.
What I do is put my slippers behind the radiator in the hall.
Warm slippers are bliss.

Strange isn't it? There are many activities that hurt slightly but are undeniably pleasurable, how can you explain the shock of the icy water splash after coming out of a sauna? Or the cat digging it's claws in when it's sitting on your lap? The sting of after shave? It's a paradox, that's what it is!

I've been led to believe that that is becasue the body releases adrenalin to counteract the slight pain, which is part of how addictions form.

hammondorgan Posted Aug 24, 2008
Hmmm, addictions to pain presumably, that makes a bit of sense I suppose, but addictions to substances? I think we need a theory with more explanatory reach as we had to say in Sociology classes, Yes, the Adrenalin rush is something we hear about all the time in relation to dangerous sports, risky behaviours gambling etc, all potential addictions of a type I suppose. You do here about people who need their 'adrenalin fix' so it seems quite plausible, interesting though.

I did once work with a bloke - Alan Cooper of Leatherhead, 1964-5 - who loved to squeeze other people's blackheads. Strange bloke - but he had a very nice girl friend who had perfectly clear skin.......

going back to the subject of feet ........
I used to have a friend with a labrador who would lick between your toes if you had bare feet

I know of such a dog also,a stafordshire bull terrier I think but then she seems intent on licking any bit of skin given to be in her line of sight
Isn't it ment to be the salt they try to lick off your skin or something

Sorry for the plug.
I have set up a section on the forum dedicated to these random gaming things and so far I have only done the mini gran theft auto papercraft city which looks pretty cool.

No worries If you ever fancy writing about it, I'm sure the papercraft activity would make an interesting entry for the h2g2 Edited Guide.

I wouldn't know what to write about it as it's like writing an article on oragami.
