Title - The h2g2 Fantasy Football League

What is the art for? - Logo for the main page, and probably for use in the thingy as well.

Text or Picture? - A bit of both to be honest. Mainly text, nice big blocky lettering with sort of rounded corners would be nice. With a picture at one or other (or both) ends.

What type of picture? - Well, a football fairly obviously. Maybe it's in motion, just been struck by a boot. A few sprigs of grass perhaps?

Do you require members' badges? - That would be nice I'm not sure what it would look like. I'll leave that up to you, unless of course one of my footballing colleagues comes up with a stonkingly good idea before you've put crayon to monitor. Text of, "I'm an h2g2 Fantasy Footballer", sounds good to me

Any particular colours you want included in the graphic? - Red text on a white background with maybe a thin black border around the text sounds good to me It mustn't look like some sort of a ManU advert with too much red. And definitely NO vertical blue and white vertical stripes anywhere in the picture - that would play merry hell with the Goo skin I'm sure (well that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it )

Umm. There's this bit about the club having to be submitted to A192791 and listed in the categorisation system. Give us a shout when this is sorted.

Ah, that might cause some problems We run with a rolling home page - It's a new entry for each season and we're up to season eight. Repeat categorisation given the new staffing arrangements could be tricky.

Also I have to say, that this is the first time I've ever heard of the Community Choice. And looking at the age of some of the threads I don't think I'm alone in that

There is a work-around solution out there somewhere. I just need to find it

Perhaps if you had one fixed page with links to your yearly pages?

That's kind of what I'm thinking. We do have a Hall of Fame showing all of the past winners and how they won it - link at the bottom of A1130662 if you fancy taking a look. That could I guess be turned into a generic 'home page' with a bit of editing and some prominent links back to which ever season we happen to be running with.

That works for me. The aim of the Community Choice criterion is to try to ensure that we CAs are spending our time making badges that will be used by a lot of people over a long period of time. That way the community gets good value for money.

I think it will be good to have an incentive for people to join the categorisation system. It will make it easier for new users to find a group that shares their interests.

OK, I've finished making up a little homepage for the competition - A883064 - and have also just requested categorization over at Community Choice page.

The homepage is short and sweet. Hopefully informative and friendly, plus it includes the link to where ever we happen to be playing

I think that's a very elegant and informative homepage .
