Note to all Travellers:
Would all Travellers please remember to wipe their feet before entering the main chamber.
Welcome to the Grand Headquarters of the h2g2 Society of Time Travellers. As you walk amongst the cold granite pillars, you notice the faces of hundreds of old clocks and compasses hung on hooks all around. Everyone is traveling through time, but it requires a lot of instruments to navigate different direcitons or speeds from everyone else.
To join this society, please add your name ot the conversaiton forum for this page marked "Join Here", to gain for yourself the title of "Traveller".
And please remember at all times the society motto, carved into the granite both in the lintle over the door and above a circular carving in the shape of a clock on the far wall:
"Please try not to kill your own grandfather" |
And the circular carving shimmers. It is an interface through space time. Dont ask me how it works, it's a recent discovery, but if you walk through I can garentee you that most of you will probably end up in The Society Chairman's study in the Knights of h2g2 Observatory.
On your right between the pillars there is a row of oak doors with copper handles. Above each there is a stone lintle, as one would expect. All save the fifth furthest to the left are blank, however these lintles are carved. Enter the rooms by clicking the stones below:
On your left you will notice a similar set of doors, mostly with blank lintles, although the five furthest on the right are carved:
