It's been hidden already... I guess that was a bad choice by the mod, it was presumably a post about the policy, not the war.
Count me in, BTW.

Tango, I think you need to take a slightly closer look at post 2.
And I'd do it quick if I were you, before a *real* mod shows up

I've made my feelings quite clear and so far have managed to avoid moderation. Possibly because I used long words
It's so sad, to have just returned to h2g2 after a long absence, initiated by the takeover by the BBC, and find that my fears were not groundless. Evidently this is not a community, but a resource for the BBC that they can choose to restrict or confine as and when they please. I thought i was researching for h2g2, not the BBC. Evidently I was wrong.

ok i've added everyone who's posted here to a list on the page. i've posted messages in one basic thread where people where discussing the policy, 2 anouncement threads, 1 on h2g2 and 1 on the Hub, and have messaged the 3 volunteer groups i am a member of so that they know they can join a protest.

The problem I see is that discussion on that place, we cannot mention, is all over the conversations, not merely the ones with that name in the title.
Something huge is happening in the life of practically every poster and we can't make comment to each other.
Can we no longer comfort one another and help with each others concerns?
Now when I'm writing to any other thread, I'm wondering whether what I am saying is breaking 'rules'
What if I were to say I'm unhappy today because of the 'situation' in that place.?"
Is the name of that country now effectively banned ?

Count me in too.
Atrocities are about to be committed in my name and that of every other British and US citizen. Having the chance to discuss the situation with my online friends would at least represent a small crumb of comfort, but it seems that the BBC are determined to deny us even that.

But not the *whole* BBC.
Some parts of it are allowing discussion, just
not this part. It's a pity, really. Was it not
possible to have one thread at H2G2 where such
discussion was allowed?
You might have to find out the email addresses
of your online friends and communicate with them
by email. Or by telephone.

I've been thinking about making a thread for people to discuss: "The *fictional* war in Qari" which involves "ASU and KU verses Maddas", do you think that would get moderated?

just letting you all know i posted 3 similar comments to 3 relevant threads telling people about this page, and they have all been moderated. 2 were on h2g2, and different. the third was the same as one on h2g2 but on a different dna site, the hub. they were mdoerated because of spamming, which is totally wrong. i'm not surprised that people keep resigning from volunteer groups right now. the moderators and italics i think have been very unfair and unfriendly, and i am also very close to leaving the volunteer groups of which i am a part.

ps. page updated with latest people to sign up. could someone please post to the main iraw policy announcement thread or somewher relevant with this page A number. i would do it again but i would probably just get moderated again. thank you.
