World class wet-weather driver and all-round unpleasant chap.

Good morning,

Hobart 08.00, 10 October. Wet and windy, maximimum temperature forecast to be 13, with snow falling down to the three hundred metre line. This time last week it was 29 degrees and everyone who could was wearing shorts and cooling off in the local pub. That's Spring for you. Sergei is showing at number five.

Oh you have snow...I love snowsmiley - smiley
He's still there now as well at some random time after 10pm as I don't have a clocksmiley - smiley
*takes deep breath*
Michael Schumacher is a world class driver as shown by the fact he has just won the championship, he is also an all round excellent driver and thoroughly nice mansmiley - smiley
*goes in search of a clock*
Okay, it's apparantly 10.39pm but this is probably about ten minutes out but either way Prokofiev is showing as neglected again...

Do you think if we moaned enough they'd take pity on us and remove him from the list or at least put a little message saying 'most neglected but still loved by many' or something?

i don't know... but I hope so. really. its funny i've had way more unpopular entries than this, this one has conversations on it!

Exactly Joanna. How can Sergei be in the most neglected with a hundred plus postings? I so much look forward to Abi's explanation, or indeed any explanation of this phenomenon.

PS I asked Peta 'why' several weeks ago and am still waiting for a reply. Well, no, I'm not waiting 'cause I figure no answer is going to be forthcoming from that quarter, so fingers crossed that Abi will deliver.

The Why is fairly easy: it's the entries which have active discussions, but where the activity is low. Or so it was explained to me. An entry with no discussions doesn't get on the Neglected list, which is more about the once popular but now less so. Or something.

Thanks, Just zis Guy, that has really cleared things up!!

Hobart, 11 October 07.45. Clear sunny day, heavy snow on the mountain, nearly a frost this morning. The wind and rain have gone, but Sergei is, like the weather, still with us, unmoving at his regular number five spot. I demand a stewards' enquiry.

Perhaps there is blu-tak in the Guide-O-Matic's hard disk?
