A Conversation for Sergei Prokofiev

Tinkerbell,
It won't be for lack of trying if it hasn't. I hope that your efforts are not in vain. Please accept this little Tasmanian blue gum flower as a token of appreciation.

*takes the pretty flower*
Aaaw thank you
And YEAH! It worked Quite how long for I'm not sure but at least I know how to fix it now

*still crouched down beside Front Page*
Aaaarrgh!
*falls over*
Maybe we need to spice things up a bit to attract attention to Prokofiev. Frinstance, has anyone else seen the filmed production of The Fiery Angel by the Kirov (I think) with all the demons and naked women at the end?

WHY?!?!? He's back again, this is so unfair, I think there's a rotation system going...I shout Shenanigans at the makers of the list, we were way off it this morning, and look at the most popular they're all user journals, having watched way too many US Action films I suspect a conspiracy theory
Maybe we should all submit really dull guide entries and then when they were accepted no-one would want to talk about them and they'd become more neglected than poor Prokofiev...
Xedni, that film sounds remarkably like an episode of Buffy The Vampire Slayer
*wonders if she should cheat again or possibly use the normal method of conversation*
Hmmm, has anyone heard Russell Watson's Album/single/songs/voice? Now he is outstanding

Naked women? Buffy?
*falls over again, with beatific smile on face this time*

*realises that was a bad thing to mention and wafts smelling salts under his nose*
Y'know it's probably a stunt double doing all the fight scenes don't you?

*slowly staggers to feet, shaking head groggily*
erm... weren't we talking about some Russian guy a while ago? I bet if I strolled up to the Dawson Lounge (another Front Page regular and about 15 minutes' walk from where I'm sitting), they'd have Prokofiev on the jukebox.
Stunt doubles?? Next you'll be telling me it's a work of fiction.

Sorry to interrupt this fascinating digression, but as at 07.35 on 5 October, Hobart time, Sergei is back at number five on the 'most neglected'. I have asked the powers to be for enlightenment as to the criteria they use to determine who is on or off these lists, but an aloof silence is the response. Will keep persisting with the pestering of the powers.

I know I saw that...it's definitly a conspiracy theory
*puts on dark glasses and black suit*
I have noticed that before 6pm GMT or BST or whatever we are currently, the list doesn't include him and has 5 others including a computery thing and klingon and the 5 most popular include five user journals, but then after 6pm it switches back to the two lists we have now...I suspect that no-body actually knows and they just assume we won't notice

Hi Tinkerbell,
Hobart, 08.05 Friday 6 October, a mild if overcast day with an eighty per cent chance of drizzle, and if your theory is right Tinkerbell slightly better odds that Sergei will be on the 'most neglected'.
AND HE IS!!!!
Joanna, if you read this, I am now able to almost hum along to P's third, on account of having brought the CD to work and playing the album once or twice a day. It still ain't Ludwig's fourth, though.
Walter.
