a friend of mine wrote a fanfiction where they had a load of lecturers for DADA - the idea being that each would prepare the kids in their speciality to fight Voldemort, so she had Dumbledore, Lupin, Moody, Snape and others to teach them.

Realistically I think Snape will stay in potions - I reckon the whole rumour that he wants the DADA job is just a student thing, and he doesn't really.

P'raps Moody will come back to teach though - since he's back being him again.

Re:- the future. Has anyone considered the possibility that Harry might wed Cho Chang and ride off into the sunset at the end of the seventh book?

That way, the fanfiction could continue unabated, and JK Rowling could write something new if she ever gets down to her last £100 million.

'Order of the Phoenix' - another idea - Harry and Voldemort's wands both have feathers from Dumbledore's phoenix, could it be anything to do with this? I like the idea of a secret society headed by Dumbledore though.

Cho is a year older so won't be there in last book anyway (unless the whole school thing breaks down due to unforseen darkness taking over the world)

i think they have ti have a year where hogwarts closed. and i'd also like to see the durselys have to deal with the wizarding world head on for once

i thought there was a lot of fanfiction out there with high ratings. R and NC-17 etc. But now that i've seen lucius malfoy (wierd casting that) and seen how dracco is looking now he is another year older i expect that that are of fanfiction is going to explode. wish there was someone around that i could drool over, but there's a distinct age group gap between the students and the youngest staff memebers
