...I was thinking that they were something that was created to protect Harry after Voldemort was temporarily defeated [Phoenix= Rebirth]

i think one of the twins is going to get it in the neck soon. mainly this is because they are my favourite characters in the books and thats what always happens to the ones i like.

i am also convinced that someone harry trusts will turn 'to the dark side'

and by the way...those of you who have seen the second film, or the trailers. did any of you think lucius looked like that? and draco seems to have aged five years. bit of a lionel and lex luthor thing going on there dont you think? he he he he he he he

I also think the Order of the Phoenix is a group of wizards and witches who worked against Voldemort. Dumbledore must head it I think - esp. with Fawkes. I would say that McGonnagall, Moody, Flitwick, Lupin, Black, Arabella Figg, Mundungus Fletcher and "The Old Crowd" are all members - as James and Lily Potter probably were. I wouldn't be surprised to see Arthur Weasley in it either - I think there's more to him than's been let on.

... and it also would tell us what the Potter's did for a living...

There's an interesting bit in book three where Dumbledore is telling Harry that having Voldemort's servant in his debt (through saving Wormtail's life) is a valuable thing, reminded me of 'Gollum may yet have a part to play'.

I think that (can't remember names of schools) the Frech/Italian/girly school is going to have to join in the fight against evil, wheras the other one (Russian?) will be split.

Who's going to be the DADA? Madame Maxime, I suppose, not Fleur (who was only about 17 or 18)

I'd love to see them actually KEEP a DADA teacher. Mebbe they'll transfer Snape and we can have a new potions teacher.
