D'oh! I just noticed that the word I voted for as gold had an extra O in it. Was it valid? Do we have an adjudicator? I don't want to withdraw my vote but I don't want to set a precedent.

I think we decided the telegram as being invalid in similar cases, i.e. when it was too late for people to go and correct them - which, unfortunately, is the case now.

I've mulled all these over the last few days. All three deserve equal 1st place in my opinion, but I've had to break them up for the score-master. One hell of a tough choice for what I considered an 'easy' word.

I'm now heading off to the Land of Ice and Snow (UK). If I don't freeze and the flights don't get cancelled for a snowflake on the runway, then I should be back in time to post a feeble effort next week.

(Why am I leaving a country where it's warm, to go back to that? )
