Well, I think I would almost prefer that "flavour" to the stuff we are all happily poisoning ourselves with on a daily basis, in our ignorance .

Thanks for the back up re. Aspartame folks. The more you read the more worrying it gets! And the patronising guff the FDA and our own FSA dishes out, treats us like idiots and makes me determined to make people think for themselves.

Keep up the smoke free lifestyle everyone. Better health and more money to spend on the good things of life, or even the essentials, has to be an incentive, once you get past the addiction bit

I can't live without slightly sweet things - might move on to apple juice. When I was travelling around Europe a couple of summers ago all I drank was water, with the occasional carton of milk and I didn't mind, it's just starting. When I was travelling it was the hottest summer on European records so it wasn't that difficult, I needed to drink about 5 litres just to stay hydrated
Anyway, waffle over. Starting on apple juice, may progress to just water

is lovely too, when you can get it fresh and not prossessed to death... but I mainly stick to water and (and the occasional as my poison of choise) nowadays.

I've been told to aviod as it rots your teeth like nothing else. Also when you drink it all the time it gets a little too acidic. Can't beat apple juice though, especially after a long cycle

They tend to be too sweet for my taste...

Apple juice is my personal favourite, especially the German-style light, clarified type that I used to be able to get at home. I haven't seen it here...

Organic apple juice; fresh squeezed stuff, so it's all cloudy and not at all concentrated. Boy! It's delicious

Time is rushing by... It helps that I'm quite busy at w*rk; I haven't really noticed time lying heavily on my hands, so I haven't felt the urge for a time-killing cigarette at any point.

But now, Day 24 is at an end, and I'm free to celebrate my year online!
