...bothered and bewildered?

No, Bewitched, as in the cheesy American sitcom...
I can't remember the name of the main character, but I remember the evil mother-in-law was called Ezmerelda. Oh, and the husband was called Derwood.
However, I was ALMOST bewitched by Jenny; her home page lists her as a TV-loving, chocoholic, food-loving cheese fan - amongst others. Perfect.
However, at 14, the age difference would be insurmountable.
Neat home page though, you(se) should go & have a look.
Yeah - anyone who comes across a truly inspirational home page, let the rest of us know.
Cheese would also be good.

I must apologise for my subterfuge, I know how knackered my page is, I am unable to fix it because of a dodgy computer.
If you recieve advice from a so called 'Qualified' freind on how to make your PC work better, stuff his head on the microwave.
If anyone does fancy a second look, go to:

Sorry, ADG - it still doesn't work. Can I recommend a visit to http://www.quadzilla.com ...?

Has everyone been to the page with the gigantic counter and nothing else? I'm still trying to work that one out.

Roasted Amoeba Posted Dec 7, 1999
Anyway, if Fred the Cheese changed his name, that would mess up my search for Fred the Roasted Amoeba, as well as upsetting Fred the Starfish...

Have a look a bit earlier on in this forum (about two weeks ago, to be precise), and it will explain everything. As much as can be explained anyway...

Jenny and Fred the cheese Posted Dec 7, 1999
there is no question of Fred changing his name. Somewhere out there Fred the roasted amoeba is living in hope that one day he will find his likenamed cheese and starfish, how would he feel if he knew one of them was now called Dave or Ronald.

Exactly. It wouldn't be the same. Fred is always Fred - and that's the way it should be.

Except for Fred the transsexual Blue Peter tortoise, who became Freda...?

I think it is part of the H2G2 4th Rule, under No Spitting, that Fred is Fred.

Wherever Fred the Roasted Amoeba is, I know that he would be happy to know that some things will never change
