I like Gruyère,
its taste is tangy too
if you melt it in a casserole
it turns itself to goo
nothing for you to doo
and it still tastes tangy too
but you can eat it whole
it doesn't have to be in a bowl
I guess it's up to yoo
It's a special kind of day where I live, calles St. Erklaas, when we give each other presents and stick poems to them that are read out loud when given.
Also, I'vwe finally seen tPB. Liked it. Good dialogue.
Hihihi.

Thanks for that Peet,
It was a bit cheesy though...
(call me Z, I kinda prefer to keep 'Mr. President' for the President of HeadSnot inc.)
And your fave cheese, Peet, is...

Z,
thanks for your modesty, allowing for things to remain clear to me. I was wondering why Peet was 'thanking Mr. President', when I remembered what your original profession was.
Oh, what a brave world that has such confusing things in it!

To tell the truth,
I feel awfully lame using Zaphod as a nickname, but he has been such a hero, guide and role model for so long I did it in honour of the said two-headed ex-president rather than as me pretending to be Zaphod.
I hope that explains everything.
P.S.
My other choice was Zarniwoop, but he's more enigmatic. Zaphod is totally shallow. I like that in a fictional character.

I totally see why you chose what you chose for a name.
Yours and mine have similarities in their reason.
I too sought for a very shallow and meaningless name, and mine basically says 'boss of very shallow sort of thing'.
The funny thing is, that we both (or at least myself, I don't know how people react to your nick) didn't realise the effect of putting a reference to a high-in-the-hierarchy thing. Get me? Like people think you want to be Zaphod, they think I want to be president and rule the rule-a-ma-jig or something, when it should be clear that maybe I do want to rule and rule some more, but it shouldn't be so much out in the open! Like, yeah!
Oh and for all you other participants to the forum: cheese, man. cheese.

It's very hard being Bluebottle. You never know when to be yourself, when to pretend to be a fly, and when to say You rotten Swin You - you have deaded me again! *exits stage left with tatty trousers, with orange grass stains on the knee.*
Why am I Bluebottle? Because it sounds cool. I like Peter Sellers. I like the Goon Shows, though only own a few on tape. Blue is my favourite colour, and I believe it is a Blue World. If I had to re-name, I'd call myself Blue Meanie.
If you had to rename, what would you be called, and why?

I had loads of ideas. I typed them up.
I lost them cos i refreshed.
I don't want to redo them.
But i do want to inform Lupa of the fact that her full name is a marvelous one, since it is chiastic, it's first half is almost a rhythmic mirror of the second. That sounds real smooth.
I was also thinking of Bubba Magillicutty, the two guys who cracked the first prince of persia. It also has a three double letters.

Bluebottle Posted Dec 6, 1999
Very true, it does. Any reason ? Or do you just like double letters?

Roasted Amoeba Posted Dec 6, 1999
It's okay for you lot. But I never know when to be a one-celled organism, when to be a toaster, or when to be me...

Bluebottle Posted Dec 6, 1999
So if you weren't Roasted Amoeba who is trying to find Fred who is also a roasted amoeba †, who would you be??
Cheese
Roasted Amoeba Posted Dec 6, 1999
I don't think so. Remember, this is all only guessing, so I could be completely wrong, of course...

Bluebottle Posted Dec 6, 1999
Same here - afterall, I've got no plans to change my name in the forseable future at all.

Jenny and Fred the cheese Posted Dec 6, 1999
This is where my suprisingly unimaginative and apparently boring nickname comes in handy, i am and always will be Jenny, it is my name. no-one can deny it, well ok they could but they'd be wrong. I toyed breifly with being Pie or the hatmeister but when it came down to it my name had to be Jenny.
Cheese
Bluebottle Posted Dec 6, 1999
You're right - no-one can argue with that. Has Fred ever considered changing his name?

i don't think so i'll go ask him *leaves in direction of the fridge* *returns* he says not but he's always liked the name Ezmarelda.

Bluebottle Posted Dec 6, 1999
Really? Does he know any cheeses of that name?
It must be lonely without other cheeses to know.
