Thanks, Magwitch.
You mean, I'll grow wings, Pierce? Probably from drinking large amounts of this energy drink I would need to consume if I held down three jobs?

But you already have a third job- and a fulltime one at that. Let it not be said that raising one's children and caring for home and family isn't a fulltime job- and a very important one at that.

Mmm, you've just reminded me that my first Saturday job was in a little home bakery. Being in NI that meant gorgeous potato farls, hot off the griddle, slathered with butter, little indian breads made with yellow cornmeal, and big creamy meringues

You're absolutely right, Pc. I occurred to me after I had posted that I should have pointed out that I have three jobs - just that one of them doesn't earn me any money.
Bea, that sounds delicious.
Fortunately, I'm not into , and I've never been a fan of their buns, so I shouldn't gain too much weight by testing all their produce.

my first job was w*rking for a small bakery too. i was a schoolboy and every morning i would deliver rolls and stuff to some 50 families who were willing to pay for it. i liked it best on dry sunny summer mornings

Yes, I know.
I used to deliver laundry for a while. Then I had a newspaper round on Sundays. The single items weren't too heavy, but at the start of the tour, the whole package was.

I just realised: I don't start tomorrow after work, but Wednesday.
Can you tell I was excited when I wrote this journal?

You did well, Taff.
It's not Tchibo, although I think they sell some Tchibo coffee, too.
PC, I won't have to start that early every day, which is OK by me.
Fizzy: don't know what you mean.
Key: Complain about this post
