Excuse I, something I'd just like to pick up on here...
>>2legs wasn't yet born when you were a teen.<<
I think you'll find that's not the case actually clever bum, cos when I was 13, 2legs would have been very much born and even perhaps by a good 2 years.
Ha! In your face crinkle gob!
At least I can always console myself that no matter what, I'll never be as old as you

Come on, he's only 28 or so, whereas you....
You're right, though, you'll never be my age at the same time as me.

age is just a state of mind
- and my mind is that of a 13 year old pimple ridden adolescent at the moment

To 13 - we were both replying to Pierce's post, just that you were a second faster.

I might try being 37 if I could remember how...
Anyway, B'El, I'm sure you'll still see lots of your son. (Every time he runs out of only once turned underwear.) But if you really want to keep kids at home, you have to get them into the family business -- like my mom did with me.
Now, how does it work out that when I live alone I have usually less housework than when I live at home? Maybe your son could tell me where I've gone wrong in this?

Hstwrd, my son still comes to see me after work. I guess it's as much for the fresh he'll find on arrival as for company. His friend only gets home late in the evening, so he's not keen to return to the empty flat. However, I guess once they've got internet his visits will get far and few in between.
As for the housework: one person just makes less of a mess than two.

hm, yes, but it can be quite frustrating that you have to - say - start a washing machine or vaccum your house even if you are only one in the household
