Only if you do a Starbucks trick - make a virtue of the fact that you've accidentally let it go cold, and market it as 'iced coffee'.

But shouldn't iced coffee contain ice cream?

lostmonalisa, you're going to regret mentioning roast beef with ice cream if 2legs reads B'Elana's journal.

Didn't Harrod's launch roastbeef flavoured ice cream only recently?

I'm not sure about that, but I think Heston Blumenthal serves bacon and egg ice cream among the many other wonderful dishes at his restaurant.

There was a thread on Ask the other day. Apparently, you can get all sorts of flavours, like Yorkshire pudding etc.

I have to make a terrible confession. For a few weeks I have been drinking instant coffee (in the privacy of the flat in Casablanca).
In mitigation - I needed three new spice jars!

Intsnat coffee is an absolute 'no' for me. If I can't have filter coffee, I'll have no coffee at all.

I agree about nistnat but what about just 'coffee' - does it HAVE to have 'fitler' (or any other word) added?

funny you should mention it. one of my reasons for drinking instant is my friend wants the empty glasses for spices

The jars are handy. I have a jar of instant in my desk drawer at work, only to be used in a dire emergency.
When i was young, my parents owned a marina. They used empty coffee jars for light fixtures, on the docks. (hole cut in the plastic lid for the light bulb to poke through, which was then affixed to the dock.) I wish i had a picture of that.

PBS, what other kind is there besides filter and instant? Unless you're counting percolated as not filtered.

- put ground coffee in a pot and pour hot water over it. However, I don't bother to filter it, just leave it to stand and then pour.-
Luxury! Why, when I was a lad, we 'ad to crush the beans in our teeth then our dads would pour the ketle, full boil, into our mouths.
But you tell that to young people today and they don't believe you.
