Yes, he should get a laugh - if he'll understand what it's all about in the first place. smiley - biggrin

it's hardly the boys fault that Bel is his mother. Seems that he wouldnt have had a say in the matter.

Well, of course. I didnt mean to cast any aspersions, anywhere. There are those who believe that kids do choose their mothers.

I've had a bit of catching up to do here so I hope a few questions are ok?

Is filter coffee what you get from a perculator? What are those plunger things that keep the grounds at the bottom called? Aren't coffee grounds good for putting on roses or some other plants (to keep slugs off or something?) Can fortunes be read in coffee grounds like with tea-leaves?

I've never been that fussed when it comes to smiley - coffee, 'proper coffee' is much nicer but instant will suffice. smiley - tea on the other hand- high quality and pot-brewed- can make me smiley - drool

Hot beverages aside, it sounds like things are settling down a bit Bel which is good to hear. Please remember that us sons secretly love our mums and miss them taking care of us but we cover it up by sometimes being rude and demanding! smiley - erm Something like that anyway. Difficult age for him and a difficult new situation but I'm sure it will turn out smiley - ok for you both.

in my opinion, filter cofffee is what comes from one of those drippy machines.

you dont have to tell me that. I've just tried coldfiltering coffee.. the jury is still out on that one.
I'm gone to bed.

Had to look for a picture of a percolator. I don't htink they're widely spread here.

This is my coffee maker:

And yes, Van, things are settling. He even asked his dad for help with a few things, which is good. smiley - smiley

He comes here to see me every day after work - that probably is going to end once they have an ISP, though. smiley - laugh
I know he loves me, he wouldn't come here if he didn't.

WEll, my son is here. He was starving and came exactly when son #2 and I were cooking tea.
This meant that I went without tea, couldn't have him starve now, could I?
He complained that everything is sooo expensive. smiley - laugh
